Nobody knows. The BOSJ show starts at like 5:30 AM, maybe sometime around then.

I'm assuming Yano's gonna be including in this, really interested to see what they pull off moveset & logic wise with him, wether or not he'll have his turnbuckle pad shenanigans

I hope to hell Sanada has the Paradise Lock too

Considering Naito is wearing an official LIJ shirt, I can assume the team is going to give a lot of attention to detail to him, and hopefully to his cohorts as well.

Turnbuckle pad shenanigans are probably not gonna be included but I would imagine Yano's gonna be loaded up with nut shots and cheap roll ups.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. There's a chance it just winds up being an intro video for BOSJ using in game versions of the guys who'll be in and edits for the guys who are just guests for the tournament. There's also a chance they just show off the full cover and announce the Japanese release date since that's the one we don't have yet.

Stanford Bradley is drooling at the chance to take many moves from Yano's moveset.

In all seriousness, the amount of new moves and edit parts we'll have for our edits is going to make this worth it many times over. From big match finishers, to smaller things like Tanahashi's slap combo, the tools this will add to our box will revitalize many an edit.

They could (theoretically) include the turnbuckle shenanigans as a corner grapple move akin to the Chair Illusion, and have it fail many times, for it to connect at the end of a match.

I'm expecting Yano's break spot at least, he has most of the other shit in-game already.

This thread inspired me to run a sim of my Yano and Ishii. This could/should go in the mark-out thread, but I figured the topic is relevant.

Yano hit Ishii with a front low-blow, lifted him up, did the shrug taunt, then hit the back low-blow. I marked out. Incredibly hard.

I'd love the Yano sidestep/hairpull/roll-up as a running counter.

Yano should really be the focus, then build the roster, moves, layers around him. Then focus on the other nerds like Okada or Tana.

Yano could have his unique rope-run-stop where the opponent just stands there looking confused, I'm talking really long shots here but that with the turnbuckle pad spot would be insane :D

As you said Waki, my Yano edit has loads of low blows & rolls up with Tech Crit, loads of taunting :D It's about the best I can do with him with what we've got

The signage at BoSJ 2018 includes some high-res looks at the new costume parts and faces for Kenny and Okada and wow they look absolutely spot-on, IMO, especially Okada. That face sprite looks EXACTLY like him in a way that the Okada face from Early Access didn't QUITE match on account of Fire Pro's legal grey-zone status.

Image

The BoSJ advert for Fire Pro, with a release date for the PS4 edition of August 9, 2018 -- right in time for the G1 Climax. We also get a list of confirmed wrestlers, most of whom I spotted on the select screen a week ago. At the end, it says that this is just a select But the young lion contingency confirmed thus far includes Oka, Kawato, and Kitamura. With TAKA Michinoku, Kanemaru, and El Desperado confirmed, we've almost got a full Suzuki-Gun.

Image

The Japanese PS4 release also comes with a limited edition box set, including Kinnikuman/MUSCLE style miniatures of Okada, Kenny, Naito, and Tanahashi; as well as Los Ingobernables de Japon + Firepro collab memorobilia in the form of a t-shirt and rally towel. It will also come with a 1st run edition data book for the New Japan roster featuring their move lists, parameters, etc.

 Those images AAAAAHH! I'm honestly floored! Faces, hair, Okada's PANTS... just  On the other hand, Okada's hand looks comically large in that frame :D

Also, the turnbuckle at the BOSJ show reads "FPW", so that's cool aswel.

Omega and Okada look amazing.

My biggest takeaway from all this, Naito's eye taunt is in.

Per Famitsu, the premium edition will be 9,800 yen (about $88.30 right now).

Okada's pants look amazing.

BTW, in that last flyer shown, it looks like some kind of animated render of Tanahashi in the story mode? Or is it going to be FMV? It's hard to tell in the pic.

I thought it was Tanahashi's Kinnukuman figure, with game graphics superimposed over it, but it's too small for me to see for sure. You could be right.

EDIT: Duh, the Kinnukuman figures are at the top, I glossed right over them. So yeah, just a picture of him, as has been said.
