Scott Saphyre:

SS: "Ever since I won this title, and my first act was to call out DESPAIR for a one on one match, people have asked me why I did that. Someone who never lost in a one on one match, why would you want to face him? It's simple. I have to. Because until I beat DESPAIR, I can't consider myself the real Openweight champion. How could I? I didn't beat the champ. And more importantly, I have to prove to the world... DESPAIR calls himself the Bane of Hope, the Hope Killer, all that... I have to prove to the world that hope doesn't die. The fight for PGCW's soul hasn't ended, it has just begun. And I will be the one to win it."

Deadly Venom Society:

JV: "PGCW wants to control the narrative that I was embarrassed by those two masked punks. Nothing could be further from the truth. See, I'll be the first to admit it, I didn't bring my A-game to those matches. Why? Well, that's simple. It's just bad sportsmanship. You wouldn't have Real Madrid go against a high school bush league and have their best players coming out. No, they send the reserve players. If I brought my A-game to Spider Jack or Murder Dragon, they wouldn't have lasted ten seconds against me. The beat down wasn't about that I lost, it was to remind them that we are better than them. Wrecker, tell em."

WJ: "Mario Black is gone, you'll never see him in PGCW again, Jim Rival, he's on the shelf and if he's smart he'll stay there. Murder Dragon, Spider Jack, do yourselves a favor. Don't show up. Because if you two walk into that cage... neither of you will be walking out."

Toombs Family with Eric Adventure:

MT: "Look, Mister Adventure... can I call you Eric? What happened to Danny Danger was an accident. I didn't want to injure him, I just wanted to win the match. Was it a cheap shot? Yes, it was. I make no apologies for that. But putting him on the shelf? For that, I'm sorry."

Mercy extends her hand to Eric.

EA: "...It's a tough sport, accidents happen."

He accept the handshake and Mercy smiles.

MT: "I'm glad we could clear the air. You know, you could go far in the Family, and we have been looking for new members..."

Before Eric could answer, Jimmy The Razor steps in.

JTR: "Woah woah woah. Mercy, babe, you're too late. Eric Adventure's already part of a group."

MT: "He is?"

EA: "I am?"

Jimmy The Razor wheels in a shopping cart full of T-shirts, pulling one out.

JTR: "SCALPEL, BABY!"

EA: "Jimmy I said 'NO'."

JTR: "No way you'd pass that up, I know. Here you go Eric, you're a medium right? You know what, you guys can be part of SCALPEL too. Let's see, Jacob, RIP you guys look like a large... let me see if I have a small for Mercy..."

While Jimmy is rummaging for shirts, Eric Adventure walks away, and so do the Toombs family.

JT: "I feel like we should kick his ass."

RIP: "The kid's just an idiot. Ignore him."

PGCW Dawn Over A New World

INTRO MOVIE

MC: "It's Dawn Over A New World here in the Proving Ground in Ft Lauderdale Florida, I'm Micheal Check and we've got eight fantastic matches for you tonight here at Proving Ground Championship Wrestling, including our main event, our first-ever Steel Cage Match for the PGCW Tag Team Titles. But first, our Creative Commons title match."

*"Surprise! You're Dead!" by Faith No More hits*

MC: "And here comes the champion, the monster Mongo. Remember in CC title matches the champion comes out first because the challenger is a surprise, the only people who know who the challenger is are the challenger themselves, senior offficial Matt Weston, and commissioner Walter Cranston. And he's with his manager Harland A Sanders IV and fellow CHICKEN CLUB member Black Cyborg. Conspicous by their absence are the other members of CHICKEN CLUB, the Arch Rivals. Well Jim Rival is not medically cleared to compete due to his injury and will not be here tonight, and Ken Archer has been at odds with Mongo since the monster won the title at the expense of Archer. And now here comes his challenger..."

*"Metal Metal Land" by GWAR hits*

MC: "Here come The Killer Knees! Both of them are dressed in their ring gear, perhaps trying to play some mind games with the CHICKEN CLUB. Electric Monkey gets on the apron in front of the monster Mongo... Mongo turns around as Renegade Angel gets in the ring and BOOTS HIS HEAD OFF! But Electric Monkey jumps the ropes, looks like it was a double bluff! Mongo tries to boot him but Monkey ducks, looking for a springboard but referee Matt Weston gets between them wanting a proper start to this match, and here we go!"

Mongo O [16:14- Powerbomb] Electric Monkey X
Mongo makes his 2nd Defense

MC: "And despite surviving a sadistic Mongo Boot to the back of the head Monkey gave a remarkable fight, using his speed and agility to full advantage but the sheer POWER of Mongo was just too much to overcome, the Padded Walls softening Monkey up for a ring-shattering powerbomb as Mongo gets one step closer to earning another chance at the Openweight title."

*"Playing With Dolls" by Slayer hits now*

MC: "And our next match is another with a TBA on the card as Joey Venom of the Deadly Venom Society has issued another open challenge, open to anyone except Jimmy The Razor. Venom has also said he won't hold back this time around like he claims he did with Spider Jack and Murder Dragon and that whoever answers the challenge better start planning for retirement. Bold words for Joey Venom but he is the most experienced man in PGCW and one of the deadliest heavyweight wrestlers in the world. Let's see who is going to answer his challenge tonight."

*"Terra Novum" by Micheal Curran plays*

MC: "And it's the Suplex Genius, Millenium! Looking to have his fourth win in a row and second in singles competition. A fantastic athlete, very technically sound and with more than a few aerial maneuvers in his arsenal as well. Venom has wrestled in Mexico but to my knowledge has never faced Millenium before, so this is a first time meeting between these two top athletes."

Joey Venom O [14:26- Flying Elbow] Millenium X

MC: "Millenium survived the infamous Burning Lariat of Joey Venom and nearly got the win with El Dorado and the Millenium Special but Joey Venom the veteran used Millenium's tights to set up a Greco-Roman slam and followed it up with a skull-cracking headbutt before finishing off the luchador with a high flying move of his own, a flying elbow directly to the heart of his foe and that was the end of the match. Venom's got a mic now..."

JV: "Hey Cranston. You said I couldn't have a title match as long as DESPAIR was champion. Well, he's not anymore. And my contract says I'm entitled to one. So next show, wether it's Scott Saphyre, or DESPAIR getting his title back? However wins, I got next."

MC: "And there you have it folks, Joey Venom saying he will challenge for the Openweight title and if that performance against Millenium is any indication he will be a tough challenge to overcome for either man."

MC: "Tag team action for our third match, as Johnny Jones and BLACKBIRD Sora look to build some momentum as they face Jacob Toombs and RIP, the former tag champs. The last time Bizarre Adventure faced the Toombs Family the Family won, but that was Mario Black and RIP. We'll see how they fare against this combination of the Toombs Family."

RIP dominated early on with his martial arts skills, and the power of Jacob Toombs complimented it but Bizarre Adventure made a huge comeback, but Johnny Jones built up the comeback and BLACKBIRD Sora knocked them down, and after getting a nearfall with a Death Valley Bomb, delivered a vertical suplex over the ropes to Jacob Toombs, delivered a second Death Valley Bomb for a three count. Impressive performance by xer and Johnny Jones as well."

MC: "Our next contest is a preview of sorts of Determination League 2: Are You Determined?. Two of the PGCW representatives in action as Eric Adventure, who has been on a hot streak as of late, faces the young rookie from Germany Tristan Belmont. Both of them are looking to represent us in this sixteen man tournament and this could be a potential final if they perform well enough."

MC: "WOW! What an upset by Tristan! Eric seemed to have taken Belmont lightly at first and the rookie took adventage and turned this into his kind of contest, a mat-based encounter peppered with hard hitting European style strikes. Eric Adventure mounted a comeback and almost got a win with a backslide, but tried to follow up an enzuigiri with another rollup only to get caught in one of Tristan's own for the three count."

MC: "Next up is tag team action as Ken Archer and Black Cyborg of CHICKEN CLUB face off with Crawling Chaos, the team of first Openweight champion William King and his girlfriend Kathy Queen. Originally this was going to be the Arch Rivals in action but with Jim Rival not cleared to compete Black Cyborg is taking his place. Interesting to note but Mongo is with them and Harland A Sanders, to Archer's chagrin. The battle couple don't seem to mind however, with them sharing a quick makeout session before the match gets underway."

Cyborg/Archer O [29:52- Irish Whip Into Exposed Turnbuckle] King/Queen X

MC: "Of all the low down tricks! Black Cyborg pulled the turnbuckle pad down just as Archer threw Kathy Queen into it and she was knocked out cold. King is not happy about it and decked Archer after the match only to be separated by Matt Weston and security officials, a sour end to an absolutely phenomenal match, all four athletes giving their all. Kathy Queen managed to survive the Archer's Arrow not once but TWICE and almost caught Archer in her version of the Cthulhu Clutch but Archer got free. She almost got the win with the Mind Flayer as well but Black Cyborg made the save, and this allowed them to resort to using an exposed turnbuckle to put down the self-proclaimed sexual anarchist. Kathy seems to be fine as King helps her to the back and it seems like the bad blood between King and CHICKEN CLUB is heating up again."

MC: "Next is the last of our non-title matches this evening, as Alex Kelley and The Incredible ! go one on one. This stems from the events of their contests in the previous two shows, back in Harder Than Steel Kelley and Incredible ! were on opposite sides of tag team actions and Kelley hit Incredible ! with AK-47 to score the fall. Fast forward to Oblivion Road when both men were in the final three, Incredible ! knocked out Alex Kelley with the Magic Missile to eliminate Mister Photogenic. Now the two face off one on one, one of the deadliest strikers in the Proving Ground vs one of the best high fliers, sure to be fireworks."

Alex Kelley X [21:40- Tombstone -> "Symbol of Sleep"] The Incredible ! O

MC: "WOW What a fantastic contest, folks. It was a back and forth contest throughout with so many twists and turns and both men nearly taking the win on multiple occassions. We all thought it was over when Incredible ! went for a tombstone, illegal in Mexico but perfectly legal here in the Proving Ground, Kelley reversed it into a tombstone of his own to set up for the K-Bar but Incredible ! managed to get free. But after a whirlwind kick, the lucha star went for a tombstone again and this time got it, following it up with the Symbol of Sleep pinning combination for the three count. Incredible ! showing that he's due for a chance at the Openweight title, and it may be sooner rather than later that he gets that chance."

*"Lavender Town (Orchestral)" by Vanitas plays*

MC: "And speaking of, it's time for our Openweight Championship match. Since August this man, DESPAIR, has been terrorizing PGCW, bringing a message that hope was an illusion and despair is the only truth in the world. Nobody seemed capable of defeating him, and when he finally lost it was in an effective guantlet match, and the man who did pin him, William King, cracked his ribs doing so. He's submitted some of the top stars of PGCW, including his opponent tonight, and has even ended the career of the legendary John Foreman. And now DESPAIR steps into the ring, in a rare championship rematch, looking to become the first two-time champion in our short history."

*"The Quick And The Blue (Acoustic Version)" by The Megas plays*

MC: "And here comes the Openweight Champion, the man who says he won't see himself as the true champ until he defeats DESPAIR himself. He couldn't even get a two count the last time they faced off but Scott has been through a lot of trials and tribulations since then, and appears more confident than he's ever been. I can't think of anyone who would make a more fitting representative of PGCW than the Man In Blue. He's everything this company is all about, a sportsman, an amazing athlete, technically sound and well rounded and has a bright future ahead of him. But to see that future, he's got to go through the dark tunnel that is a battle with the behemoth known as DESPAIR."

DESPAIR X [16:54- Superplex followed by a School Boy] Scott Saphyre O
Scott Saphyre makes his 1st defense

MC: "HE DID IT! BY GOD SCOTT SAPHYRE HAS DONE WHAT WE ALL THOUGHT WAS IMPOSSIBLE! He didn't just beat DESPAIR he absolutely DOMINATED in this match, and all credit to DESPAIR he put a hell of a fight, surviving the Man In Blue's best offense including Death Wears Blue and the Leben Lock, but Scott was one step ahead at every turn, even escaping the dreaded Hope Killer with ease! In the end though Scott knew he had to do something special to put away DESPAIR, and delivered a ring-shaking superplex! DESPAIR still didn't go down but a quick roll up spelled the end, and... wait a second, Scott is standing over the fallen DESPAIR..."

SS: "This is for John Foreman!"

MC: "Scott is grabbing DESPAIR's expressionless facemask... and pulls it off!"

*The lights go out, and when they come back on, the giant known as DESPAIR is gone, and in his place...*

MC: "HOW THE... Iron XX?! We.... we hadn't seen her since she faced Kathy Queen all the way back in Episode 5 back in June. Was she DESPAIR this whole time? How is that even POSSIBLE? She's like a third of DESPAIR's size. She rolls out of the ring... and masked as she is her body language suggests she's as baffled as we all are. Even Scott doesn't know what to make of this."

MC: "Well as we compose ourselves here and the cage gets set up for our main event, a couple announcements. First off, tapings for the Determination League will be happening in a whole week long affair here. The semi-finals will be taking place at Magic City Wrestling and the finals will be at our next event, At The Edge Of Time. Our second announcement, the Proving Ground is under new management. While the new company, SCFP Promotions, is going to honor our lease on the venue and has no intention of severing the relationship we've had with it, we are being told that they plan on renovations. We're looking for a temporary venue so we can hold events during the renovations and we're not exactly sure -when- said renovations are taking place, but for those of you wanting to see us live, you should know now that tickets for the time being may be limited and it is possible we might overbook for at least one show."

MC: "And now I'm being told that the cage is ready and our main event is about to begin. Tag team title match under Tornado rules in a steel cage. And you don't win by running away here, you win by pinfall, submission, or knockout only. I've also been told that both camps agreed in advance that each competitor would be allowed to bring one weapon into the cage, so this is sure to be a wild encounter."

*"The Midnight Carnival" by Daisuke Ishiwatari hits*

MC: "And here come the challengers, Plane Shift, Spider Jack and Murder Dragon, former tag team champions. Both of them coming out not only in special ring gear for this occasion but also choosing kendo sticks as their weapons of choice. Also known as shinai, kendo sticks are made from four pieces of bamboo and that distinctive cracking sound they make, well that's how you know the person swinging it has made a solid hit and let me tell you, there's a reason kendo practitioners are heavily clothed and wear face guards, because those things hurt like hell. And Plane Shift don't need them to be dangerous either, they earned this shot when both of them defeated Joey Venom. Murder Dragon is known for his dynamic style and Spider Jack is not only considered the very best cruiserweight wrestler in the world today but he is the ONLY man in PGCW to make William King tap out. Even DESPAIR couldn't manage that as Kathy Queen threw the towel in during that match."

*"Playing With Dolls" by Slayer plays once more*

MC: "And here come the champions, Wrecker Jr and Water Moccasin and they don't need weapons to be dangerous either as they've been putting people on the shelf left and right as of late. But armed they come, Water Moccasin with the traditional pro wrestling weapon of a steel chair and Wrecker Jr's apparently watched a lot of Walking Dead lately because he's carrying a barbed wire bat! The champs have shown remarkable chemistry in their matches and the Homewrecker can end the match at any moment, and with their mentor Joey Venom at ringside they'll have a tactical advantage as well. Here we go folks, first ever cage match in PGCW history."

Jack/Dragon O [16:32- Mystery Rana] Wrecker Jr/Moccasin X
Plane Shift become the 6th Tag Team Champions
And become the first two-time holders of any PGCW title

MC: "New champions! This match was as wild and chaotic as we thought it would be with all four men battling all around the confines of the cage. It looked to be bleak for the challengers when Water Moccasin had Murder Dragon in a flying kneebar but Dragon managed to escape, only to be seemingly put in peril again when the champs hit their patented double powerbomb. Water Moccasin followed this up with a knee drop but Spider Jack quickly put Wrecker Jr in a small package to prevent them from capitalizing. And in the end after some great tag team work, Plane Shift got the win when Murder Dragon reversed a rear waistlock into a Mystery Rana. Spider Jack using a neckbreaker to keep Wrecker Jr down, and senior official Matt Weston making the three count. Joey Venom is incensed but doesn't dare try entering the cage lest he try the commissioner's already worn thin patience again. The now two-time champs celebrate in the cage as the DVS shout threats to them, but they'll have to climb the ladder to get another shot just like any other team here in PGCW. But that will be another night and we are running out of time, I'm Micheal Check, this has been PGCW Dawn Over A New World, and we hope to see you again very soon."

Determination League 2 Night 1

Highlights

The first night of the tournament began with a bang. Artic Knight would be the first on the board, defeating the youngster Wesley Winner with ease thanks to his Deep Freeze. Clockwork Angel and Megaton would battle, with Angel (who failed to get a single point in the first DL) shocking the audience by hitting Megaton with her Clock Strikes Twelve (Styles Clash) for the three count. Cap'n Edward Read and Silver Bullet did battle in arguably the best match of the night ending when Read counters an attempt at the Peacemaker with a small package for the three count. Not to be outdone Hija Del Santa Muerte and GAMEOVER fought a back and forth encounter but neither could win a fall. Jimmy The Razor was confident going up against BTPW champ Burrito The Cat, scoring a series of near falls early on, but Burrito made a huge comeback, hitting the Purina (Pedigree) and following up with the Burrito Supreme Special for the submission win. Freddy Newman was looking to get a win at the expense of the lone female competitor of Block A, but Kathy Queen shut those hopes down with the Mind Flayer. The first PGCW vs PGCW match ended in a bit of an upset as Ben "Loco" Davis caught Eric Adventure in the Loco Motion to take the win. Finally, Isaac LaCroix would pin the up and coming Tristan Belmont with Redemption in a great matchup.

Determination League 2 Night 2

Highlights

Night 2 begins with Kathy Queen and Burrito The Cat looking to build on their success the previous evening, but it was the BTPW champ that would get the two points with a Tiger Suplex. Meanwhile Silver Bullet and Freddy Newman looked to get on the board and the high flyer managed it by scoring the second KO win of the tournament with the Peacemaker. Clockwork Angel looked for another huge upset but caught in Loco Motion to give Davis four points, meanwhile Hija Del Santa Muerte looked to one-up Angel by beating Megaton, but her inexperience against bigger opponents made her unable to finish off the big man, who planted her with a Greco-Roman slam to get on the board. In what's sure to be a match of the league contender Cap'n Edward Read and Isaac LaCroix fought to a time limit draw, while GAMEOVER made short work of Wesley Winner finishing him off with a German Suplex. Jimmy The Razor and Tristan Belmont also fought to a draw, and in an upset Eric Adventure uses a hard kick to escape a sitout powerbomb pin and uses the opportunity to knock out Artic Knight with Adventure Time! to get to four points.

However Burrito The Cat managed to get his third win at the expense of Freddy Newman with the Burrito Supreme Special. Tristan Belmont got his first win with a reverse stranglehold submission on Kathy Queen, while GAMEOVER earned his second win over Megaton with the SNK Driver and Eric Adventure beat Wesley Winner with a Double Leg Nelson. Artic Knight and Clockwork angel also battled for their second win but Artic Knight managed it with a La Magistral. Determination League 2 Night 4:

Highlights

Eric Adventure and Clockwork Angel began the night, Angel gaining her second win with a Mystery Rana in a hard fought battle. Artic Knight gained his second KO win of the league, planting Hija Del Santa Muerte with the Deep Freeze. Freddy Newman looked to get on the board, but was knocked out by Isaac LaCroix's Redemption. The KOs would keep on coming as Silver Bullet, not to be outdone by Artic Knight, delivered his second KO with the Peacemaker at the expense of Jimmy The Razor. GAMEOVER continued his winning ways, applying an ankle-trap kneebar to force a submission from the veteran, while Wesley Winner finally got on the board in what may be the sleeper hit match of the tournament, defeating Megaton with his version of the sidewalk slam he calls Get Dunked On!. Burrito The Cat and Tristan Belmont had a great match that went the distance, and this action-packed night came to a close with Kathy Queen upsetting Cap'n Edward Read with Queen's Landing.

Determination League 2Night 5:

Highlights

We're past the halfway point of the round robin stage and competition is really heating up. Silver Bullet adds to his record at the expense of Kathy Queen with the Saturday Night Special (Yokosuka Cutter). Hija Del Santa Muerte climbed the ladder at the expense of Eric Adventure, nailing him with a spear for the three count. Jimmy The Razor tried to get his first win but lost to Isaac LaCroix via a moonsault press, while Clockwork Angel pins Westley Winner with a backslide and Megaton gets a win over Ben Davis by reversing the Loco Lock into a pin. Tristan Belmont looked to get ahead in the tournament with his Seras Victoria finisher over Freddy Newman, but Newman got a second wind and caught him with Yiff U (Sitout Death Valley) for his first win in the league. Former BTPW champion faced off against current one as Cap'n Edward Read battled Burrito The Cat, and the Cap'n got the win with a frog splash. Finally in the most anticipated match of the round robin stage, GAMEOVER faced Artic Knight and scored the biggest single win of his career with the Kill Screen.

Determination League 2 Night 6:

Highlights

We began with a high-stakes battle as Burrito The Cat battled The Silver Bullet, a back and forth encounter that ended with the Six-Shooter, securing Silver Bullet's place in the semi-finals. Ben Davis made quick work of Wesley Winner, using the Loco Motion to put himself in a position to make it to the semis. Meanwhile GAMEOVER punched his ticket while dashing the hopes of Eric Adventure, using the Ankle-Trap Kneebar to earn a submission, while Isaac LaCroix put himself in a strong position to advance by knocking out Kathy Queen with Redemption. Jimmy The Razor and Freddy Newman, both effectively out of the running at this point, fought to a draw (despite Freddy hitting his Freddy To Belly at the last second) while Megaton caused a massive coup in defeating Artic Knight by reversing a headlock into a pin to steal the two points. Tristan Belmont put a wrench in the plans of Cap'n Edward Read, scoring an upset KO with Seras Victoria. Finally our sole all-women's match of the tournament ended with Clockwork Angel pinning the MCW Ladies Champion with Clock Strikes Twelve only 11 and a half minutes in, putting Angel in position to advance to the semi-finals and taking Hija Del Santa Muerte out of the running entirely.

Highlights

We start with the matches that can have no effect on the semi-finals, as Jimmy The Razor finally gets a win in the tournament over Kathy Queen, pinning her with the Rainbow Bridge, and Hija Del Santa Muerte pinning Wesley Winner with a rolling cradle. Silver Bullet clinched the top seed at the expense of the already eliminated Tristan Belmont with a 450 splash, and Megaton (who needed not only to win but for Clockwork Angel to lose AND for Artic Knight v Ben Davis to not draw -just- to get a tiebreaker match) was eliminated by Eric Adventure making him submit to a flying armbar. It became do or die for Artic Knight and Ben Davis (both needing to win and for Clockwork Angel to lose to beat her in the head-to-head), and the California veteran was the one who made it thanks to his Cold Shoulder (Pounce). Cap'n Edward Read (who needed both to win and for Burrito to win) cleared his first hurdle, knocking out Freddy Newman with the Broadsider.

And then it came to the deciding matches. Clockwork Angel needed one point, but GAMEOVER, despite having nothing to lose, gave her no quarter and pinned her with Child With A Chainsaw, ending the Cinderella run of Clockwork Angel with a sour note.

As for Isaac LaCroix, he too needed a single point; if he didn't get it, Cap'n Edward Read would advance in Block A by the three-way head-to-head standings. But Burrito didn't want to lose to another BTPW wrestler, and a moonsault press won it for the BTPW champ.

PGCW At The Edge of Time

INTRO MOVIE

MC: "Welcome to the Proving Ground and tonight we are At The Edge Of Time, I'm Micheal Check and tonight we have not eight but NINE big matches for you, a whopping SIX of them title matches including two titles from outside promotions on the line as well as finals of the second Determination League, and our main event, a man who many consider the most hated man currently in PGCW, Joey Venom, against the fan's favorite, the hometown hero, Scott Saphyre, for the Openweight Title. But we begin with the third place match of the Determination League. In addition to third place honors, the winner of this I have been told will be given the opportunity to join us at the Proving Ground full time."

*"Trapped Under Ice" by Death Angel hits*

MC: "And the first man out, representing California Championship Wrestling, Arctic Knight. Arctic Knight is a veteran junior heavyweight, a fantastic technician. He's held the CCW TV Championship for an astonishing five years, and has been a two time tag team champion once with fourth generation wrestler Don Suavo and once with "Flawless" Dustin Diamond and he's currently having a hand in training Don's son Damien. And if the Suavo family are tasking you in helping groom their future patriarch, that's proof that you are not only a great wrestler but one with a cunning mind for the sport."

*"Back Through Time" by Alestorm plays*

MC: "But if he wants to be a regular fixture here on the East Coast he's going to have to deal with a regular of the Gulf Coast, Louisiana Pro Wrestling's very own Terror of the Seven Seas, Cap'n Edward Read. He's a veteran in his own right, former LPW Heavyweight champion and was also the first Bon Temps Pro Wrestling's Heavyweight champion after defeating Ninja King II in a best of seven series. One of the larger competitors in the tournament but he's deceptively light on his feet and can take to the air when he has to. He's a very versatile competitor as well, though he likes to finish people off with his signature Broadsider, a jaw-shattering sliding dropkick. He also possess a fantastic running dropkick as well as you'll likely see more than once, and he can also submit an opponent as well. Here we go folks, Determination League third place match."

Arctic Knight O [12:48 "Deep Freeze"] Cap'n Edward Read X

MC: "And what a way to start this event, folks. The two started evenly matched but the more experienced Arctic Knight took control. Read managed to catch Knight in a couple dangerous situations, first with that cobra clutch backbreaker submission, then nearly getting the pin with the 'Cut Of Yer Jib' cutter, but when he tried to build up to the Broadsider Arctic Knight caught him with a small package, and when the Cap'n kicked out of that, Arctic Knight didn't even miss a beat, Deep Freeze got the pinfall. Great performance by the Cold Soldier."

*"Surprise! You're Dead!" by Faith No More hits*

MC: "And here comes Mongo! Our next match will be for the monster's Creative Commons title, his third defense, and with a lot of the participants in the Determination League and their friends in town tonight, the possibilities for who may be chosen are as high as they've probably ever been. Let's see who it is..."

*"Winner" by Cheeseburger plays*

MC: "...Well I guess it's Wesley Winner from Louisiana Pro Wrestling! Wesley didn't exactly have the best performance but he did have a great showing against the biggest man in the tournament Megaton. He sure looks confident... but I'm also noting Matt Weston is talking to both Mongo's manager Harland A Sanders IV and our timekeeper, I can't quite make out what he's saying but I'm guessing because he's one of the men who knows who the challenger is beforehand that something is amiss here... wait Winner's got a mic..."

WW: "So I understand that the Creative Commons title is defended on an open challenge basis... so here I am to answer that challenge. And Cranston, I hope you're ready to change the plates on that belt, because I am a born Winner!"

He sticks out his arm as if he's about to do a mic drop, but before he does, Mongo runs up and boots him clear over the ropes and onto the ramp, and Sanders grabs the mic.

HS: "IT'S NOT AN OPEN CHALLENGE DUMBASS! Now, while my monster Mongo, your future PGCW Openweight Champion, is warmed up, let's have his REAL opponent come out here, please."

*"Cry Little Sister" by Gerald McMann plays now*

MC: "Well, now THIS is interesting. This is Requiem, Isaac LaCroix, Camarilla, and their leader the man known only as the Prince of Baton Rouge. LaCroix is in the lead so I'm guessing he's the one Mongo is scheduled to face. He's a former two-time BTPW tag team champion with Camarilla, and one of those championships was won at the expense of our own first tag champs Risky Business. He's also got a lot of ways to polish off an opponent, including an absolutely devastating modified crucifix bomb called Redemption. And if he can give Redemption tonight we may see a new champion."

Mongo O [13:21- Powerbomb] Isaac LaCroix X
Mongo makes his 3rd defense

MC: "Since gaining the Creative Commons title we've seen Mongo at his most aggressive and this is a great example. He used the Mongo Boot and the running splash to punish LaCroix and despite LaCroix catching him with the pop-up cutter Mongo managed to plant the vampiric challenger with that powerbomb that's put away so many opponents before to retain the title."

MC: "Next match will have no titles or contracts on the line but it has a personal undertone to it as the former Tag Team champions, Wrecker Jr and Water Moccasin face off against Jimmy The Razor and Tristan Belmont. The bad blood between Wrecker Jr and Jimmy The Razor is well documented, they were on-again-off-again partners before Wrecker revealed himself as a member of the DVS by injuring Jimmy with the Homewrecker, the first of many injuries induced by Wrecker Jr with that move, including Mario Black who may never return to PGCW that's how severe his injury has turned out to be."

MC: "Jimmy The Razor and Tristan Belmont supposedly forming SCALPEL tonight, though Tristan Belmont isn't wearing the SCALPEL shirt that Razor no doubt gave him. Jimmy has been trying to recruit anyone who stays in the same room with him for more than a couple minutes and hasn't found a member yet, but who knows what may happen if this duo turns out to be cohesive."

Wrecker Jr X / Moccasin [23:59- Body Scissors Cradle] Razor / Belmont O

MC: "Bad leg and all Belmont gets the fall over the career-threatening duo! And threatening careers was definitely the plan tonight, Moccasin giving Razor a violent German Suplex onto the concrete, the punishing double team tactics, and also a Moccasin injuring Belmont's knee with a dragon screw. But Razor managed to save him from the dreaded Spinning Toe Hold of Water Moccasin allowing the youngster from Stuttgart to rally back, a phenomal performance that led to a cradle pin giving him yet another big win here in the Proving Ground. And Jimmy The Razor making sure the DVS, Joey Venom included, don't try to punish Belmont as they've done to others in the past."

*"Clockwork Angels" by Rush hits*

MC: "And now it's time for the first of two special attraction title matches, the first being Magic City Wrestling's Ladies title up for grabs in a three-way elimination match. It was originally planned to be a a singles match but this woman, Clockwork Angel, who stunned the world with her fantastic performance in the Determination League, even pinning the MCW Ladies champion in the round robin stage only to fail to qualify for the semi-finals by a hair. The man behind him is Doctor Uhrmacher, the creator of the mechanical Clockwork Angel, who is especially proud of his automaton protege's performance in the League, and they'll be looking to toll the bell for the champion tonight."

*"Lecher Bitch" by The Genitorturers plays next*

MC: "But here is the other contender, the always dangerous Kathy Queen accompanied by her boyfriend William King. She is none to happy about her less than stellar performance but is looking to make up for it with her first ever championship gold. And while momentum isn't on her side, she's shown just how quickly she can turn the momentum of a match, especially with the Mind Flayer which has knocked people out here in the Proving Ground."

*"Ghost Woman And The Hunter" by Lacuna Coil plays now*

MC: "But for either of them to leave with gold they'll have to take it from this woman, who has become the talk of the wrestling community to the point where I have heard that Walter Cranston is considering offering her a contract despite missing out on the semi-finals. People are still talking about the 'Dropkick Festival' she unleashed on Megaton, she is Hjia Del Santa Muerte. She's a Texas native with Mexican heritage, and it's that heritage that she draws from, taking her personage from the Lady of Holy Death Santa Muerte, patron saint of the oppressed and downtrodden common man. She's wearing red robes, one of the many colors that idols of Santa Muerte are commonly found in and represent love and compassion. And on a more personal level, it's also a tribute to Hija Del Santa Muerte's mentor, the King of Roses Chris DaMico who cut his teeth in the lucha libre circuit, and you can see his influences in her repetoire, she's adopted his signature cradle pins, his La Rosa Del Entiero submission hold, and even uses the dragon screw regularly as well, DaMico being known for having the best dragon screw in the business."

MC: "And now all three woman in the ring, Cindy Slam our official, she was the first MCW Ladies champion. Elimination rules apply, last woman standing is the winner and champion."

MC: "And Kathy Queen wins the first championship of her career! All three women delivered in this matchup but after making Clockwork Angel submit to Sin-O-Matic and pummeling the champion, Hija Del Santa Muerte tried to stage a comeback only to get planted by the Queenmaker for the pin. What a great week it's been for both Clockwork Angel and the now-former champion though, and we might see Hija Del Santa Muerte back in the Proving Ground very soon."

*"Howling" by Abingdon Boys School plays*

MC: "And now we're about to have the second of our special attraction title matches, as the Bon Temps Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title is on the line, BTPW from Baton Rouge Louisiana... and here is Black Cyborg who we all are familiar with, the former champion getting his rematch but with the stipulation that nobody is allowed at ringside and that effects Black Cyborg the most as it means CHICKEN CLUB has to stay in the back. Still as we all know Black Cyborg is a dangerous competitor on his own, possessing one of the deadliest striking moves in the sport."

*"Escape From The City" from the Sonic Adventure 2 OST hits*

MC: "And here is the champion, Burrito The Cat and the crowd is all pumped up as Burritomania has come back to the Proving Ground! Don't let the wackiness of the feline warrior fool you, he's the BTPW champ for a reason, a great athlete and technically sound to boot, with a lot of ways to finish off a foe, as we saw in the Determination League. However unlike their last encounter which was a three way dance, this is a one on one match, and while Burrito has defeated Black Cyborg in one-on-one competition in the past it was a controversial win due to the interference involved. And here we go folks, BTPW title on the line..."

We thought Black Cyborg had this one in the bag when he hit that early Elimination Protocol knee but Burrito fought back and this was a phenomenal contest, both athletes nearly getting the win on multiple occassions but after surviving a sleeper hold from the Cyborg, Burrito managed to hit a dropkick to the back of Cyborg setting up the cradle pin getting a three count. CHICKEN CLUB are coming out in full force but Burrito heads out through the crowd, Harlan Sanders IV is beside himself as this is one title that CHICKEN CLUB will not be leaving with."

*"Roundabout" by YES plays in the arena*

MC: "And now it's time for PGCW title action as the tag team titles are on the line. Bizarre Adventure, the team of Johnny Jones and BLACKBIRD Sora, trying for the second time to capture the titles. Every time we see these two in the ring together they get more cohesive and stronger as a duo, but are they stronger now than they were the last time they made an attempt at the tag team gold?"

*"The Midnight Carnival" by Daisuke Ishiwatari hits*

MC: "And our first-ever two time tag champs, Murder Dragon and the international cruiserweight champion Spider Jack, getting a hero's welcome for ending the reign of terror that was the Deadly Venom Society's tag team title run. The first time this duo held the gold they didn't manage to keep it long but like Bizarre Adventure they've improved by leaps and bounds since then. And with the two most popular tag teams in PGCW face to face tonight we're sure to have fireworks."

MC: "What a fantastic contest! The champs started out strong but Sora and Jones used their size advantage to ground the high flying duo and work the leg, Sora nearly getting the win with xer Angel Lust sumission hold and nearly getting the pin over Spider Jack with a beauty of a superplex. Spider Jack rallied back for his team though, hitting a flurry of his signature offense on Sora until Jones tagged in and immediately got a nearfall with Spin Class. But some brilliant teamwork crushed Jones' momentum, and Jack eventually got the win following up an enzuigiri with a magistral cradle. Fantastic effort by both teams, who show their mutual respect to each other. That was a match I would love to see every month."

MC: "And now for six-person tag team action. On one side we've got three of the top contenders for the Openweight title, Alex Kelley, former champ William King, and The Incredible !, against the more experienced unit of the Toombs family, Mercy and Jacob Toombs and their associate Richard Ian Prescott. While on the surface this looks like the old debate of three strong individuals versus one strong unit, it should be noted that the Toombs Family are no slouches at all, we've seen what Mercy's kicks can do to an opponent as well as Jacob's power, and let's not forget RIP is a world class MMA fighter and his wrestling debut was against Alex Kelley where RIP won, so don't write off the Toombs Family just yet."

A great showing by everyone involved and another action-packed contest to bring us to our final stretch of matches."

*"Moonlight Densetsu" by DALI plays*

MC: "And now it's time for the finals of the Determination League, the winner of this match will compete for the Openweight Title at our next event. Coming out first is a man who I have been told has just signed a contract with PGCW, The Silver Bullet. He's a veteran journeyman, very agile, lots of high impact moves to boot. He's been all over the world, Japan, Mexico, and he's even had a couple tours of Europe under his belt, let's see how he does here tonight though..."

*"The Lord GOD" (God Rugal Theme) plays*

MC: "GAMEOVER, the winner of the first Determination League, who has gone without suffering a single defeat so far in the second league. In many ways he is like a young Silver Bullet, that combination of agility and high impact offense. One could also say this is GAMEOVER's home turf as he's a veteran of the Proving Ground... but in the end it's his youth versus the Silver Bullet's experience tonight."

Silver Bullet O [16:13- "Saturday Night Special"] GAMEOVER X
Silver Bullet wins the Determination League

MC: "What a performance by the Silver Bullet! GAMEOVER seemed to be put off his game plan when Silver Bullet came at him with guns blazing, and the veteran kept up the pressure keeping the younger on his back foot. GAMEOVER did his best to rally back but in the end, Silver Bullet planted him with Saturday Night Special, center of the ring, making his immediate mark in PGCW."

*"Playing With Dolls" by Slayer plays*

MC: "And now it's time for our main event, Openweight title on the line and here comes the challenger, Joey Venom, with the Deadly Venom Society at his back. And make no mistake folks DVS or not Venom is an absolute killer, he's as crafty as he is ruthless, and possesses one of the most vicious lariats in the industry. This is going to be an uphill battle for our champion for sure."

*"The Quick and The Blue" by The Megas hits*

MC: "Scott Saphyre, the Man In Blue, looking for his second title defense and the crowd is right behind him! And while I do my best to be objective here, it's hard not to see why, he is the hometown hero and Joey Venom and the DVS have been wrecking havoc since they got here. That being said we have to consider him the underdog in this contest due to the size and experience difference. After beating DESPAIR though, Scott has to be full of confidence, let's see if that will lead to his undoing."

Joey Venom X [20:46- "Death Wears Blue"] Scott Saphyre O
Scott Saphyre makes his 2nd Defense

MC: "What a fantastic battle! Scott started strong in this until Venom caught him with a bionic elbow and following it up with a lethal series of mounted elbows to boot. Venom kept in control but Scott built back some momentum, Venom missing a big diving splash only to get hit with a neckbreaker, but Venom tilted the tide to his favor again with a sadistic Burning Lariat out of nowhere for a near fall. When Venom went for the Nuerotoxin, Scott gave him a taste of his own medicine with punches from the guard, Venom maintained in control though. A second Burning Lariat was ducked by Scott, who used a drop toe hold to set up for the Roll Caskett Special and nearly got the fall but Venom kicked out. A third lariat attempt was also evaded but Venom was ready for it, throwing Scott to the cavas and started THROTTLING him. Venom then sunk to a new low, thrusting a chair into the ribs of the champion. Scott want for the Leben Lock but the injured ribs made it hard for him to concentrate and Joey escaped. Venom tried to finish off the champ, but the Proving Ground's energy fired him up, and after a flurry of offense he delivered Death Wears Blue, right on the money, and not even the mighty Joey Venom could kick out of a perfectly executed Death Wears Blue."

MC: "Hopefully those ribs aren't injured and I'm sure Walter Cranston is going to have some choice words for Venom for his conduct, but until next time folks, I'm Micheal Check, from everyone at Proving Ground Championship Wrestling, good night everyone!"

Re: Proving Ground Championship Wrestling- SHOWS (4/1 At The Edge Of Time)

Postby October Raven » Sat Apr 22, 2017 11:57 pm

PGCW Beyond the Red Mirror

INTRO MOVIE

MC: "We are Beyond the Red Mirror tonight, I'm Micheal Check, this is Proving Ground Championship wrestling from the Proving Ground in Ft Lauderdale Florida, and we've got eight big matches in store tonight including a double main event, but first it's time for the Creative Commons Title match."

*"Surprise! You're Dead!" by Faith No More plays*

MC: "And here comes the Creative Commons champion, the monster Mongo, and with him Harlan A Sanders IV and the rest of CHICKEN CLUB. Mongo has had the best performances we've seen from him since, and for good reason because if he fails on his trying to gain the Openweight title, Sanders will kick him out of CHICKEN CLUB and he'll have to go back to the Ft Lauderdale Psychiatric Hospital. But Mongo is a savage nightmare to face, the strongest man we've ever seen here in the Proving Ground, so whoever he faces tonight will have an uphill battle..."

*"Chant III- Reincarnation" by Kenji Kawai plays*

MC: "I don't know who uses... Hoooly SHIT LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS GUY! I think he might even be bigger than DESPAIR was! You'll have to forgive me but I've never seen this guy before and... okay I'm being told through my headset that this is Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana from Hilo, Hawaii. He was a former sumo under the name Kurokaze, and reached the rank of Ozeki and very nearly became Yokozuna. Apparently he was originally planned to have a tryout match after the show but threw his name into the drawing... and here he is. Sanders seems very unsettled by this, trying to give Mongo some instructions. Mongo has faced people larger than him before, but it's certainly not a scenario they expected to come across here tonight. Let's get to it folks!"

Mongo O [17:53- Powerbomb] Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana X
Mongo makes his 4th Defense

MC: "And if anyone doubted the power and aggression of Mongo, I can't imagine them doubting it now. Mongo was at the absolute top of his game, using that power that he's so infamous for, Bobby must be about 400 pounds and Mongo threw him around the ring like he weighed 40. But all credit to Bobby, he took some of Mongo's best shots, surviving an early powerbomb and the Mongo Boot, answering some great offense of his own, like a thunderous airplane spin powerbomb and utilizing his sumo expertise to deliver some absolutely punishing throws. He also showed an absolutely devastating kneeling piledriver spiking Mongo on the floor but made the mistake of failing to capitalize which lead to his downfall, Mongo hefting him up for a ring-shaking powerbomb for a three count. Great effort by both men and I hope Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana gets signed cause this kid's got potential."

MC: "Our next contest is a big tag match with one team looking to recover from a championship match loss, the other looking to rise in the ranks, as Bizarre Adventure faces The Incredible ! and Millenium, the team known as Age of Magic. Now this is Age of Magic's first match together in PGCW but they have been tag partners in Mexico back when The Incredible ! went by the name Wizard, but it's been a while since they teamed up, let's see how this reunion plays out."

Jones X / Sora [23:04- Hurricanrana] Incredible ! O / Millenium

In the end Jones and Incredible went in a tug of war looking to put the other away, but when the kid from New Orleans down Louisiana way looked for his signature straightjacket powerbomb, Incredible ! the veteran reversed into a hurricanrana, Sora seemed to be caught in the ropes when xhe tried to make the break, bad luck for Bizarre Adventure but a deserved win for Age of Magic."

MC: "And while that next match was all about competition and mutual respect the following match will be anything but. Jimmy The Razor goes one on one with Wrecker Jr in Wrecker's first singles match since betraying Jimmy and joining the Deadly Venom Society. And while Wrecker is accompanied by his stablemates, Jimmy is not alone either as Tristan Belmont, wearing a SCALPEL shirt, is backing up The Razor...."

*"Cthulhu" by Iced Earth plays*

MC: "Well we didn't expect this! William King and Kathy Queen coming down the ramp, King's got a chair. He's got a one on one match with the DVS leader Joey Venom later tonight, is he here maybe to deliver a pre-emptive strike? The Florida State Athletic Commission surely wouldn't approve and security is already trying to keep King from getting involved, but... King just opens up the chair and sits on it, and Queen sits in his lap. Not sure what King's got going on in his head, Jimmy The Razor doesn't seem to get it either so I don't think he invited him, especially since he's not offering the two SCALPEL shirts yet. Well we're getting back to the matter at hand, Jimmy The Razor vs Wrecker Jr..."

Wrecker Jr X [12:43- "Double Edge Press"] Jimmy The Razor O

MC: "Well this match got ugly fast folks, we knew this was a personal match and they let us show how much they wanted to hurt each other, very physical battle. Wrecker tried to end it early with the front powerslam he calls 'Get Wreck't', nearly getting the fall but Jimmy would answer with a beauty of an exploder for a nearfall of his own and then delivered the Switchblade Kiss but while Cindy Slam was counting the fall Water Moccasin put Jimmy's foot on the rope forcing a break. The match went back and forth from there, Jimmy got cocky and showboated for the crowd, and Wrecker Jr used the opening, the HOMEWRECKER, one of the most dangerous moves in the sport, but amazingly Jimmy kicked out. Wrecker kept up the punishment but Jimmy The Razor using a smooth arm drag, Wrecker was stunned by it and it allowed The Razor to get to the top rope, Double Edge Press, flawlessly executed, and Jimmy The Razor vanquishes his nemesis. And as the fall was counted, he looked right at Joey Venom, who he will be facing next in a street fight."

MC: "The personal battles do not end tonight as coming up next, Black Cyborg, Ken Archer, and Jim Rival of CHICKEN CLUB face off against the Toombs Family. This rivalry started back when RIP betrayed the CHICKEN CLUB to help the Toombs Family capture the tag team titles, and the two factions have been battling for supremacy ever since. This is also a return match for Jim Rival who has been out of action from being injured by Wrecker Jr recently."

MC: "And Cindy Slam making the right call here, Rival was not defending himself, those knees are illegal in MMA but legal in PGCW. And RIP's mounted knees are no joke folks, RIP started his career in Japan while knees to the head of a grounded opponent were still legal, and picked up a couple TKOs with such knees and.... HOLY SHIT MONGO JUST BOOTED RIP! And we've got a fight on our hands but security are quickly seperating them, it's surprising to see Mongo standing up for the Arch Rivals though given the recent internal turmoil in CHICKEN CLUB. It seems like that's been resolved at least for now as the Toombs Family are forced to beat a retreat."

MC: "Well our next contest shouldn't end in chaos, but it should be a good one as Alex Kelley goes against the veteran Arctic Knight. Both men looking to be considered for a PGCW title shot, and despite their dissimilar approaches- Kelley a modern super junior where Arctic takes a more 90s approach- if you blink you might miss a knockout blow, so this is sure to be an exciting contest.

Either way he was never able to make a comeback and Kelley saw to that with the AK-47, and that's as strong a case for Kelley getting a chance at gold as any folks."

*"Metal Metal Land" by GWAR hits*

MC: "And it's tag team action next as The Killer Knees are going to challenge for the titles, having won the chance with a tag team battle royale at Magic City Wrestling. Electric Monkey and Renegade Angel haven't had the best win-loss record here in the Proving Ground but nobody can deny their athletic ability and how dangerous they can be when they get the opening."

*"The Midnight Carnival" by Daisuke Ishiwatari plays*

MC: "But to be champions they have to beat these two men, Murder Dragon and Spider Jack, Plane Shift. Arguably the most popular team in PGCW and for good reason, they've provided so many jaw-dropping moments, and as both singles and tag action have had amazing victories. This is going to be a really fast-paced battle folks, only one team can walk away with the gold, it's time to find out who comes out on top."

Jack managed to tag to Murder Dragon who made a huge comeback, but in the end Spider Jack delivered a standing moonsault to Renegade Angel, Murder Dragon took out Electric Monkey with Calamity Trigger, and Spider Jack made Angel tap to the Spiderweb lock to retain the titles."

*"Playing With Dolls" by Slayer plays*

MC: "Well we went from fast paced high flying competition to a match that's going to be a physical knock down drag out brawl for sure. Joey Venom coming out now with his DVS, fans have been clamoring to see Venom face King since the veteran came to the Proving Ground. Hell, Venom's been looking for this, and so has King. As crazy as it sounds for both of them there's actually a ton of mutual respect here... and wait a second... well, proving my point folks, Venom is sending Water Moccasin and Wrecker Jr. to the back!"

*"Cthulhu" by Iced Earth hits again*

MC: "And here comes William King, inaugural Openweight champion and accompanied as always by his girlfriend and reigning MCW Ladies Champion Kathy Queen. But when Venom gave him a German suplex the momentum of which sent King out of the ring and colliding into Kathy Queen, which I don't think was unintentional on Venom's part, King lost his temper, grabbing a chair and bringing it into the ring. The wild swing missed and Venom made him pay, big slam followed by a flying elbow drop to get the three count. Good showing by both men but in the end, it was the experience of Venom that decided this bout."

And if he performs as well as he did in the Determination League he may well become our fourth Openweight Champion, but let's not forget who our champion is..."

*"The Quick And The Blue" by The Megas hits*

MC: "The Man In Blue himself, Scott Saphyre, the man who conquered DESPAIR. He's a lot like a young Silver Bullet, so athletic and has an arsenal of moves he can use to put away an opponent. This one is sure to be fireworks folks, both men shaking hands as we get ready for the main event."

We all thought it was over when Scott hit a Death Wears Blue off the top rope but couldn't capitalize with a cover, and hit a picture perfect moonsault but too close to the ropes as Silver Bullet managed to break the count. We thought it was over when Silver Bullet locked in the Six-Shooter but Saphyre managed to get free. My AK-47 hitting your face, and your face hitting the canvas. You say Death Wears Blue... well, as far as your title reign goes, I'm the Grim Reaper."

MC: "And there you have it folks, Alex Kelley announcing that he's been named number one contender. That's sure to be a hell of a match but unfortunately we're out of time, I'm Micheal Check, this has been Proving Ground Championship Wrestling, good night everybody!"

Re: Proving Ground Championship Wrestling- SHOWS (4/22 Beyond The Red Mirror)

Postby October Raven » Thu Apr 27, 2017 3:21 am

"Micheal Check here to announce PGCW's Murder The Dawn, our next event.

As we found out at the end of Beyond The Red Mirror, Alex Kelley is the next challenger to Scott Saphyre's Openweight Championship. This will be Kelley's first chance at the championship since he battled William King in the first ever defense of the title, and is looking to finally reach the summit, but Scott Saphyre has been at his absolute best form as champion so it will be a tough hill to climb.

"Also we've got Joey Venom vs Jimmy The Razor in a street fight. I've been informed that The Razor requested a street fight from Walter Cranston for a while now and finally he is going to get it. I question the wisdom of this though because Joey Venom is infamous for his street fights and by his count he's been over two hundred in his career, where as Jimmy The Razor hasn't been in two hundred matches total. That being said Razor has been more focused than ever since his return to PGCW, this will either be a massacre or a hell of a fight.

"Other championship matches, of course we have Mongo defending the Creative Commons title for the fifth time. If he wins, he'll become the next challenger for the Openweight title, but if he loses Harlan Sanders IV has vowed to kick Mongo out of the CHICKEN CLUB and if that happens, Mongo's rehabilitiative release will be revoked and he'll have to go back to the psychiatric hospital. Also for the tag team titles Plane Shift battles Age of Magic in what's sure to be a high flying all action encounter.

"We'll also have Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana back in action, Silver Bullet vs Johnny Jones, King and Queen teaming up against the DVS, and Richard Ian Prescott facing his former stablemate The Black Cyborg. All this great action coming soon, but for now, enjoy our bonus match, an eight-person battle royale."

PGCW Murder The Dawn

INTRO MOVIE

MC: "Welcome everyone here at the Proving Ground where tonight we Murder The Dawn! Big main event tonight as Alex Kelley goes one on one with Scott Saphyre, we also have Joey Venom vs Jimmy The Razor in a street fight as well as the toughest test yet for Plane Shift as they face off against Age of Magic, but first the Creative Commons title is on the line!"

*"Surprise! You're Dead!" by Faith No More hits*

MC: "And we have never seen Mongo more intense and more focused since he's won the CC title, but with Harlan A Sanders IV vowing to kick him out of CHICKEN CLUB and send him back to the psych hospital, who can blame him. And all of CHICKEN CLUB is out here, the group looking like a united front for the first time since the controversial circumstances that lead to this. If Mongo wins, he vacates the title and becomes the new #1 contender for the Openweight Title, the one title that has eluded the grasp of the CHICKEN CLUB. And now we await his opponent...."

*"Ken's Theme With Lyrics" by Brentalfloss plays*

MC: "That's Ken Archer's music! Ken Archer of the CHICKEN CLUB sliding into the ring, and things just got interesting! Mongo went against Sanders' orders eliminating Archer to win the CC Title, leading to the edict I just discussed, but Sanders also warned Archer that if he was drawn against Mongo and went against him, Archer would also be putting his status in CHICKEN CLUB on the line. Winner gets the gold, loser leaves the CLUB!"

All the CHICKEN CLUB are in the ring celebrating. Archer rolls out of the ring, finally coming to... he tries to get Jim Rival to follow him out but... Rival's not leaving."

MC: "Our next match is against two of the rising stars of PGCW, Tristan Belmont going up against Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana, who impressed the PGCW staff with his match against Mongo so much that he got signed, he's got a tough challenge in his first match as an official PGCW competitor, Tristan's been on a roll as of lately and is a fantastic athlete. That being said Tristan's never faced someone as MASSIVE as Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana, it will be interesting to see how the technician adapts in this contest. Belmont wasn't done, hitting Seras Victoria but could only get a 2.9. Bobby answered with a rolling spinebuster followed by a thunderous spear, no way Belmont was kicking out of that, and the former sumo gets the pinfall."

Jones hit the Straitjacket Brainbuster to set up Spin Class but Silver Bullet ducked and countered with a neckbreaker, only to get hit by a second attempt at Spin Class for the three count."

MC: "Well this next match is likely going to be a lot less about athleticism and more about pure physicality as Crawling Chaos face off against the former tag team champions Wrecker Jr and Water Moccasin of the Deadly Venom Society. King looking to get some vindication after losing to Joey Venom in that knock down drag out brawl which knocked him down the rankings for the Openweight Title. Interesting clash of styles as RIP is of course an MMA expert while Black Cyborg is an incredible high flyer and super junior, time to see who can best implement their game plan tonight."

Richard Ian Prescott O [11:37- "Reaper Kick"] Black Cyborg X

MC: "Wow. RIP injured Cyborg with an open-handed jab early in this match and ever since the former double champion was completely off his game and RIP showed no mercy, hitting a multitude of head kicks including three Reaper Kicks en route to victory. Absolutely dominant performance, and Jim Rival is having to help Black Cyborg to the back, he seems out like a light. And if RIP is this effective in the upcoming Losers Leave Town match then the Family are sure to remain in the Proving Ground."

*"Terra Nova" by Michael Curran plays*

MC: "And now it's time for the tag team title match and experts say this will be the toughest challenge yet for the champions. The Incredible ! and Millenium, Age of Magic, a team recently reunited that took Mexico by storm. And as we saw with their bout with Bizarre Adventure they are as cohesive as ever, and between their sheer talents and their experience, this is going to be a tough nut to crack."

*"The Midnight Carnival" by Daisuke Ishiwatari hits*

MC: "But Plane Shift are the two-time tag team champions because they find a way to win no matter what. We saw it when they unseated Wrecker Jr and Water Moccasin and they've been turning back all challenges since. We've seen how fluid and in sync they are, and both men are completely unpredictable to boot. I have no idea who will leave the ring with the tag gold, but I can promise you all this: Everyone who watches this match will be a winner for it."

Millenium O / Incredible ! [32:16- Bodyscissors Cradle] Spider X/Dragon
Age Of Magic become the 7th PGCW Tag Team Champions

MC: "THAT. WAS. AMAZING. The Proving Ground is on their feet, and even the locker room is piling out to applaud the efforts of these four men. The champions pulled out the stops, unleashing damn near everything in their arsenal but even a Spiderweb Lock in the middle of the ring on Millenium just wasn't enough to decide the match. Millenium hit his Mariposa and El Dorado suplexes and hit a jaw-dropping flying rana to the floor to come back. Spider Jack hit the enzuigiri looking for another Spiderweb Lock but Millenium reversed it into a cradle, Spider Jack couldn't escape, and we have new champions. All four men shaking hands in a display of sportsmanship, it is going to be hard to top this match folks."

*"Metal Dance" by The Megas plays*

MC: "Well this match is not going to be pretty and it's not going to have any semblance of sportsmanship, as Jimmy The Razor comes out for his street fight with Joey Venom. This rivalry goes back from then the DVS made their presence known to us by putting Jimmy The Razor on the shelf. We thought he was gone for good until he made a surprise return masquerading at Insert Valentines Cliche Here, going one on one with Venom in a losing effort."

*"Playing With Dolls" by Slayer hits*

MC: "But this is not a regular match this is a street fight, no DQ, no countout, no submissions only a pinfall will decide this fall. And this is a match that Joey Venom specializes in, having had more than his share of bloody brawls all over the Southwest and Pacific Coast areas, and by his estimate he's had over two hundred street fights in his career. Contrast to Jimmy The Razor, who hasn't even had two hundred matches total. But the biggest thing here, Joey Venom is all by himself, no Deadly Venom Society, Wrecker Jr has hit the showers and Water Moccassin is on his way to Broward Health Medical Center. It will be one on one, just as it should be."

MC: "He did it! Jimmy The Razor avenging the attempt to end his career! This brawl went up and down the Proving Ground and ended with both men bleeding buckets. We thought it was over when after several chairshots and a splash Venom hit Jimmy The Razor with a Burning Lariat, but he only got a two count. Jimmy answered with Double Edge Presses, chairshots of his own, spiking Venom with a double arm DDT. Venom used a sickle to carve open Jimmy's head and looked for Venom Spike to end it all but Jimmy countered with the Rainbow Bridge, referee Matt Weston counted to three, and The Razor has been vindicated."

*"Scent Blaster" by The Megas plays*

MC: "And now it's time for the main event of the evening, the Openweight Title match! It was all away back in the end of July that Alex Kelley got his last chance at the title but was stopped by William King. It's been ten months of ups and downs for Mister Photogenic since but now he's got the chance to headline our first anniversary show with the gold around his waist. And as we all know, Alex Kelley is always one kick away from victory."

*"The Quick and the Blue" by The Megas hits*

MC: "But to climb the mountain he's got to topple the only man who went one on one with DESPAIR and came out on top, Scott Saphyre the Man In Blue! Ft Lauderdale's own has been turning away challenge after challenge since winning the belt at Oblivion Road. If Kelley wants to win he's got to impose his gameplan on Scott and not give him an opening. That's easier said than done though because we've seen just how proficient Scott is at controlling the match since he won the title. And here it is folks, Alex Kelley, Scott Saphyre, one on one for the Openweight Title.

Alex Kelley X [22:36- Small Package] Scott Saphyre O
Scott Saphyre makes his 4th Defense

MC: "Scott does it again folks! It was a back and forth duel as the top two athletes in PGCW battled for supremacy. Kelley nearly got the win with his use of the Gannosuke Clutch, the Kafka Lock, and reversing the Roll Casket Special into an armbar. In the end it seemed like Kelley was focused more on making Scott think about the AK-47 while trying to outwrestle the champ, and this could have been his undoing as Scott reversed a rear waistlock into a neckbreaker and followed up with a small package to retain the title."

MC: "Scott celebrating his victory with the Proving Ground and it looked like he was going to offer Mister Photogenic a handshake but Kelley instead leaving the ring in obvious frustration. This isn't like Kelley but I'm sure he's just frustrated that he's had to fight so hard to get back into the title hunt only to fall short. And that's all the time we have, a fantastic night of wrestling, good night everyone and I hope to see you again soon."

Re: Proving Ground Championship Wrestling- SHOWS (5/6 Murder The Dawn)

Postby October Raven » Sun May 14, 2017 5:11 am

"Michael Check here giving you all the latest news on PGCW.

"Our next event will be our first anniversary show, and promises to be our most stacked card to date, headlined by a battle between our Openweight champion Scott Saphyre and the Monster Mongo. Mongo will also be fighting for his career, as Sanders has vowed he will kick Mongo out of the CHICKEN CLUB and drop him as a client, and because of this, Mongo's rehabilitation program will be out the window and he'll be forced to go back to the psychiatric hospital.

"The Creative Commons title will be on the line in a battle royale, just like the one where Mongo won the title. With names from all over throwing their names into the pool, it's anyones guess who will walk out with the title. The Tag Team gold will also be on the line as Age of Magic defend against Jimmy The Razor and Tristan Belmont of SCALPEL, and the #1 contender to the Openweight Title will be decided as William King goes one on one with the international cruiserweight sensation Spider Jack>"

"In addition, Amazon-1 will be crowning their first Grand Champion as Annie Bell-Lee challenges Kathy Queen, in a match where Queen will also be defending her MCW Ladies Title, and Alex Kelley will face off against a special guest, a true icon of Japanese wrestling, former Pro Wrestling VICTORY world champion Yuuki Tsukino.

And two other matches in the card, to address them we'll be looking to backstage after Murder The Dawn, first, to Joey Venom talking to commissioner Walter Cranston."

AFTER MURDER THE DAWN:

JV: "So he's probably going to be out for six to eight months, if that."

WC: "It seems that way. And Wrecker, well, he obviously wants nothing to do with you, and I'm suspending him anyway."

JV: "So Loser Leaves Town is off, right?"

WC: "No, it is not. You're going to have to find two people to fight alongside you. But, I'll be fair about it, Joey. If those two are outsiders, I will give them contracts on the spot if you win. And if they're from the PGCW roster, I'll give them an automatic tag team title shot if they win as well."

JV: "...Alright. That's fine, Cranston cause you know what, I can take out all three of those wannabe mobsters anyway. I'll have my team, and you will be right to fear them."

BACK TO MIKE

MC: "Well there you have it folks, Losers Leave PGCW is on. The Toombs Family vs Joey Venom and two partners of his chosing, the losing team will be forced to leave PGCW forever. As for our other match, here's an exchange our cameras caught in the parking lot..."

PARKING LOT AFTER MURDER THE DAWN:

Jim Rival is heading to his car while Ken Archer walks up to him.

KA: "Jim! What the hell, man. Why didn't you stand by me?"

JR: "The real question is... why would I?"

KA: "Cause you're my tag team partner, that's why!"

JR: "Yeah, I was your tag team partner. Not your friend. Our relationship was all business, remember? So when I have to choose between you and CHICKEN CLUB... I'm sticking with the one who helped pay for my medical expenses when Wrecker Jr injured me. I'm sticking with the guys who without them I wouldn't have been able to afford to give my high school sweetheart the wedding she wanted."

KA: "You were the one who didn't want to be in CHICKEN CLUB in the first place!"

JR: "Yeah well, thanks for changing my mind. Are we done?"

KA: "No, we're not done. We're going to settle this in the ring, at the Anniversary Show."

JR: "Fine by me. You've gone soft Archer. You know what that makes you? Easy money."

BACK TO MIKE

MC: "And there you have it folks, the Arch Rivals face off one on one as Ken Archer battles Jim Rival, and that is sure to be a great match that rounds out a great card. Stay tuned folks, because PGCW Anniversary Show promises to be our best outing yet."

PGCW Anniversary Show

INTRO MOVIE

MC: "Welcome everyone to the first anniversary show for Proving Ground Championship Wrestling! I'm Michael Check and we've got eight incredible matches for you, first on the docket as usual is our Creative Commons title match, and since the title is vacant it's a battle royale! Let's find out who has been drawn for this contest."

*A stereotypical 50s intro guy says "It's the GEE WILIKERS SHOW! Starring WILLY G WILIKERS!" followed by "Dear Hearts and Gentle People" by Bing Crosby*

MC: "And first up, the man from Americaville USA, the man that Bon Temps Pro Wrestling fans know as 'That 50's Guy', Willy G Wilikers! This is his first time in the Proving Ground since he competed in the original Determination League, he's a great natural athlete, and is known for his rollup moves including his signature Victory Roll."

*"Crazy In The Head" by Three Bad Jacks plays*

MC: "And one of PGCW's own, Ben "Loco" Davis! Davis hasn't had much success as of late in PGCW but if he wins this match it could turn those fortunes around."

*"Talk Shit Get Shot" by Body Count hits*

MC: "And here comes Big Jen Stone of Amazon-1, accompanied by her sister Judy. And when a six-foot-eight competitor enters a battle royale, male or female, you have to consider them a favorite. Especially when it's someone like Big Jen who has been known to throw people over the ropes with that release German she calls the Stone's Throw. Could we have our first female PGCW title holder tonight?"

*"Jack Bingo" by Todd Rungen plays*

MC: "And another BTPW competitor, "You Don't Know" Jack Shapiro, the wrestling game show host! As a competitor he's known for his technical style but he won't have much time to use his signature headgames in a battle royale such as this so it will be interesting to see how well he performs."

*"Trapped Under Ice" by Death Angel" hits*

MC: "Our second PGCW competitor, Arctic Knight! Despite being the third place winner of the second Determination League he hasn't accomplished much since being part of our roster, but he has had experience in battle royales in the past.

*"Metal Metal Land" by GWAR plays*

MC: "And another PGCW roster member in Electric Monkey! The energetic high flier and half of the Killer Knees has made a bid for Creative Commons gold before, and held his own against Mongo, perhaps this could be his night."

*"Planets Suite- Jupiter" by Gustav Holst hits*

MC: "A freelancer next and a former Determination League competitor as Gregory A Rious enters the fray! The old school mat wrestler is out of his element here but as submissions count for eliminations in this format he might be able to catch people and tap them out. A dark horse for sure as we find out who number eight is..."

*"Baka Survivor" by the Ulfuls plays to a HUGE reaction*

MC: "YUUKI TSUKINO! Also known as The Stormrider and the 100x Lightspeed Demon, he's scheduled to face Alex Kelley but I guess he added his name to the drawing to boot! Tsukino is a HUGE star in Japan, one of most charismatic figures in the country, former world champion and back-to-back winner of the V-1 Grand Prix. This is a total game changer, nobody could have expected this, and even the faithful in the Proving Ground seem to be totally behind him. Remember folks, pinfalls, submissions, and over-the-top rope eliminations count here, last man standing is Creative Commons champ!"

PGCW Creative Commons Title: Willy G Wilikers [BTPW] vs Ben "Loco" Davis vs Big Jen Stone [A-1] vs Jack Shapiro [BTPW] vs Arctic Knight vs Electric Monkey vs Gregory A Rious [Freelance] vs Yuuki Tsukino [Pro Wrestling VICTORY]

Yuuki Tsukino wins in 17:19 last eliminating Ben Davis
Yuuki Tsukino becomes the 7th Creative Commons champion

Order of Eliminations:
Gregory A Rious X [10:26- Over The Top] Jack Shapiro O
Jack Shapiro X [11:42- Over The Top] Yuuki Tsukino O
Electric Monkey X [12:21- Over The Top] Big Jen Stone O
Willy G Wilikers X[12:36- Over The Top] Arctic Knight O
Big Jen Stone X [14:10- Over The Top] Arctic Knight O
Arctic Knight X [14:18- Over The Top] Ben Davis O
Ben Davis X [17:19- German Suplex] Yuuki Tsukino O

MC: "What a triumph by Tsukino! Credit to Ben Davis though, he survived that reverse throw Olympic Slam called the Tsunami-Otoshi, as well as a picture perfect moonsault, but Ben couldn't get Tsukino in position for the Loco Lock or get him over the top and in the end a German Suplex with a bridge led to a three count. And as Tsukino celebrates, I am being told that Walter Cranston let Tsukino enter the battle royale on the condition that as a winner he'd put the Creative Commons title on the line against Alex Kelley later tonight. So another title match to look forward to..."

*"Annie's Grave" by Electric Frankenstein plays*

MC: "As we have a DUAL title match, as a title is decided and another on the line. First the challenger of the latter title, The Wrestling Dead, Annie Bell-Lee! Bell-Lee was the winner of the second Amazon-1 Grand Prix tournament, defeating her opponent tonight in the finals, and is considered one of the most dangerous competitors in A-1."

*"Lecher Bitch" by the Genitorturers hits*

MC: "And here is the winner of the first A-1GP, as well as the reigning Magic City Wrestling Ladies champion, our own femme fatale Kathy Queen, accompanied as always by her boyfriend William King. And Kathy is none too happy about the way she was defeated in the finals of the second tournament, and as we know Queen can end a match at any time with her vicious Mind Flayer. Speaking of the tournaments though, the winner of this match will defend the A-1 Grand Championship against TEK*GIRL Saiba at an upcoming event."

Annie Bell-Lee O[20:28- Dragon Sleeper]Kathy Queen X
Annie Bell-Lee becomes 1st Amazon-1 Grand Champion
and 9th MCW Ladies Champion

MC: "What a physical battle! Just like their previous encounter these two showed their roughouse style. Annie used the German Suplex she pinned Queen with in the second GP, but Queen survived and answered with Eat at Kate's. The two continued to war, Kathy looking for the submission with Sin-O-Matic and another Eat at Kate's, but after a Rigor Mortis from the top rope Annie delivered a flurry of offense culminating in a Dragon Sleeper which sent Queen to sleep for the submission victory. What a great battle folks and a hard one to follow."

*"Ken's Theme with Lyrics" by Brentalfloss plays*

MC: "But our next match is sure to be just as physical as this has personal implications! Ken Archer, exiled from CHICKEN CLUB for challenging Mongo and losing, going one on one with his former tag team partner Jim Rival. Archer feels betrayed that Rival chose to stay in CHICKEN CLUB, where Rival says hey, it's a business relationship, and staying with CHICKEN CLUB is better business. Well Archer is hoping to make Rival eat those words tonight, and he's put on a gi which I guess is his way of saying tonight he means business."

*"Hey Man Nice Shot" by Filter hits*

MC: "Almost a year ago Ken Archer and Jim Rival were drawn against each other to qualify for the Victory Road match that crowned William King as our first Openweight champ, and Archer came out on top. But Rival didn't have the CHICKEN CLUB, Harland Sanders IV and Mongo behind him, Black Cyborg is under medical suspension due to the injuries he sustained at Murder the Dawn. Here we go folks, one on one grudge match."

MC: "Archer held his own, nearly getting the win with a crossface and a flying double stop but Rival's stoic nature trumphed over the overemotional Archer, leading to Rival rocking Archer with a european uppercut before following up with the roaring elbow to get the fall. Rival had some ups and downs in his first year here in PGCW, but if he keeps up like that his second year could be a good one."

*"Queen of Rose II" by Daisuke Ishiwatari hits*

MC: "Next up is a match where the losing trio will not be seen in the Proving Ground again, Losers Leave PGCW. And here come Mercy Toombs, Jacob Toombs and Richard Ian Prescott of the Toombs Family. Since the arrival of the Toombs Family they've established themselves as true threats, Jacob and RIP being former tag team champions together in a three-man unit with Mario Black, and perhaps being the one team that could usurp the CHICKEN CLUB as the number one faction here in PGCW. But all that could end here tonight."

*"Playing With Dolls" by Slayer plays*

MC: "However Joey Venom does not have his Deadly Venom Society with him. The DVS had run roughshod but with Wrecker Jr having broken Water Moccasin's neck and leaving the DVS. But hold on, Venom's got a mic."

JV: "Walter Cranston may have thought I would have had a hard time finding two partners to replace Water Moccasin and the traitor. But really the hard part was deciding whose offer to accept. In the end, I chose two men who have nothing but contempt and hatred for you three."

MC: "Well who could-"

*"Old Time Rock And Roll" by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band hits*

MC: "NO WAY. It can't... it is! Eric Adventure and Danny Danger, Risky Business back together! Danny Danger suffered a concussion at the hands of Mercy Toombs but I guess he's been cleared for competition. Now, they are putting their PGCW careers on the line as well, but for that personal reason and for a shot at tag gold, they are risking that. You can't blame them for taking risks but... nobody seems to be happy that Risky Business have apparently joined forces with the despicable Joey Venom."

RIP/M Toombs O/J Toombs [16:56- KO via "Mercy Kill '16"] Adventure/Danger/Venom X
Joey Venom and Risky Business must leave PGCW

MC: "And with the same move that Mercy Toombs used to put Danny Danger on the shelf, that vicious modified axe kick directly to the back of the skull of Joey Venom, this match is over and with it the PGCW careers of three great athletes. It is a shame to see Risky Business go but they made a deal with the devil and it bit them in the ass. And Venom, as much as me and many other people here in PGCW despise him for all he's done since arriving here, he was a great wrestler, and in the sake of competition he will be missed. But in the end, The Toombs Family are triumphant and it may be a matter of time before Jacob Toombs and RIP vie for tag gold once more."

*"Cthulhu" by Iced Earth plays*

MC: "And now the match to determine the number one contender for the PGCW Openweight Title, this match a rematch of the season finale of PGCW's TV show, as former champ William King goes one on one with the unpredictable one Spider Jack. King and his girlfriend Kathy Queen looking all business, Queen having just lost her title earlier, and let me tell you folks an angry King is a dangerous King. King is always dangerous, of course, but you don't want him angry."

*"Cry of the Banshee" by Brocas Helm hits*

MC: "But if anyone can withstand William King's anger it is the international sensation, Spider Jack! Spider Jack is a high flying machine, and in addition to being a two time Tag champion and former CC champ, Spider Jack made William King TAP OUT. Now, King was injured delivering a Shadows Over Innsmouth to DESPAIR before that but the fact remains that nobody not even DESPAIR himself made King tap. A series of vicious elbows forced Jack to throw King to the floor, but once King got back in, he suckered Jack in by throwing a chop to make the cruiserweight sensation to duck down, but it was a ruse, Kingmaker, and Jack was down for the count. King will be the next to challenge either Mongo or Scott Saphyre for the Openweight title, and with his impressive performance Jack has to be still in the hunt."

*"Last Surprise" by Shoji Meguro plays*

MC: "Tag Team action coming up folks! And Jimmy The Razor and Tristan Belmont, with their new ally Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana, collectively known as SCALPEL looking for gold here. Razor and Belmont have proven to be a formidable duo as of late and with Ka'Ana'Ana rounding out their team it's sure to put the tag team picture on notice. But first they have to win the titles...*

*"Sogno di Volare (The Dream of Flight)" by Christopher Tin plays*

MC: "A famous tag team in Mexico, Age of Magic, The Incredible ! and Millenium. These two had what some are calling PGCW's best match ever at Murder The Dawn, against Plane Shift, and it would be hard to imagine what kind of gameplan The Razor and Belmont can come up with to overcome the sheer talent and experience that they are up against. But anything can happen in this sport, all it takes is a few seconds to win a match, let's see how this battle goes down."

Razor O/Belmont [27:32- "Sonnenblume"] Incredible !/Millenium X
Jimmy The Razor and Tristan Belmont become the 8th PGCW Tag Team Champions

MC: "Another incredible back and forth battle in PGCW's tag team division, and new champions to boot! We thought it was over when Millenium, who we think suffered a broken nose from a knee lift by Tristan Belmont, hit the belly to belly suplex and followed it up with the Millenium Special for a near fall. Incredible ! nearly defeated Jimmy The Razor with a tombstone followed up with the Symbol of Pain but the Razor got his foot on the ropes. Eventually Millenium tried to set Jimmy up with a chancery suplex but the Razor countered with the knee bomb, setting up the Sonnenblume, Millenium submitted and we have new champs.

*"Scent Blaster" by The Megas plays*

MC: "Coming up now, our SECOND Creative Commons Title match, as a result of how our first one ended. And here comes the challenger, Alex Kelley, Mister Photogenic. He came up short against Scott Saphyre at Murder the Dawn, and despite being the competitor that most people argue is the most talented wrestler in the company, he's yet to win a single championship despite being here since episode 1. Tonight could be the night Alex Kelley finally wins a championship, but to do so, he has to face a superstar."

*"Baka Survivor" by The Ulfuls plays again*

MC: "Yuuki Tsukino. The Stormrider. The 100x Lightspeed Demon. PGCW Creative Commons champion. One of the top competitors in Japanese pro wrestling, he's got it all, striking, high flying, power, charisma. Alex Kelley will have to be in top form to defeat Tsukino. This is only the second time that the CC title has been put on the line against a prescheduled opponent, and the first time that it's happened after the champion had one it earlier in the evening. Alex Kelley O [16:48- Powerbomb] Yuuki Tsukino X
Alex Kelley becomes the 8th PGCW Creative Commons champion

MC: "Kelley came in fresh and prepared and came out as champion, folks. He utilized his gameplan despite dealing with the unorthodox unpredictable Tsukino, and didn't repeat his mistakes from his last outing. He saw an opening to AK-47, he took it. He saw an opening for the K-Bar, he took it. He saw an opening for AK-104, and again, he took it. Tsukino answered with a moonsault, and Kenka kick, but couldn't put away Alex. Kelley went for the Kafka Lock and the superkick but Tsukino survived them both. Now Tsukino went for Tsunami-Otoshi, but only got a nearfall. But Tsukino looked to follow up, Kelley caught him, drilling him with a brutal powerbomb, and Tsukino could not muster the strength to kick out."

*"Surprise! You're Dead!" by Faith No More plays*

MC: "And now it's time for the main event of the evening, two of the stars of PGCW who have been here from the beginning going one on one for the Openweight title. But so much more is on the line for this man, the Monster Mongo, who has been on the hottest streak we've seen from him, destroying competition left and right. With him is Harlan Sanders IV and Jim Rival of CHICKEN CLUB, but not only that, a gurney and an orderly. Because of Mongo loses tonight, he goes back to Ft Lauderdale Psychiatric Hospital."

*"The Quick and the Blue" by The Megas hits*

MC: "And here comes the champion, The Man In Blue, Scott Saphyre. The crowd is fully behind him but this may be his toughest challenge yet because Mongo is a man with everything to lose. Scott is going to have to be on his top form and on top of that, he has to watch out for the Mongo Boot, because we've seen how quickly Mongo can end a match with that vicious running boot. And here we go folks, the one we've all been waiting for."

Mongo X [14:36- KO via "Death Wears Blue"] Scott Saphyre O
Scott Saphyre makes his 5th Defense
Mongo leaves CHICKEN CLUB and as a result PGCW

MC: "What a finish! Mongo was in control at first but Saphyre answered his brute force with technique, keeping the monster grounded and working over Mongo's arms to lessen his powerful upper body strikes. Mongo tried to set up for the Towerhacker Bomb, but Saphyre countered into a kimura. Mongo powered out, but when he tried to respond, Scott found an opening, Death Wears Blue and that was the end of the match."

MC: "Sanders and Rival have already left the ringside area as the orderly is getting Mongo and putting him on the gurney. Scott is celebrating with the crowd, but... William King is in the crowd too. A reminder to the Man in Blue, he can't rest, for a new challenger approaches with every victory. Stay tuned folks because at our next show, for the first time ever, William King faces Scott Saphyre one on one."

PROMO TIME

Kings In The North:
Armo Halla: "On the winds of our longboat we sail for the Fort of Lauderdale, and our mission is CONQUEST!"
Hjalmar Susi: "In the spirit of our viking ancestors, we bring wrath and destruction to all who stand before us as we seek to claim another championship."
AH: "Killer Knees, Submissionaries, Bizarre Adventure, none of you will be able to withstand our wrath."
HS: "And once we claim the tournament, the championship is next."

Bizarre Adventure:
Johnny Jones: "We've seen a lot of teams come in to PGCW and pass us by on the way to gold. The tag division is getting better. And we... we're stuck in a holding pattern."
BLACKBIRD Sora: "I feel you Jo-Jooooo, but how do we get out of this rut?"
JJ: "Simple. We gotta get motivated. This is it, now or never. I mean, your excursion is going to end soon anyway. If we don't win this tournament, and then go on to win the titles... we break up. A goal, and consequences for failure. That's what we need."
BS: "Now or never."
JJ: "We'll train harder, fight harder. And we will win."

Alex Kelley:
"People say I'm getting cocky. No, see, that's not it. See, I've been telling everyone I'm the best, and now I've got bragging rights to back it up, so I'm going to say it LOUDER. I AM THE BEST IN PGCW! I'm the best wrestler who's ever stepped FOOT in Florida! All the world champions, all the legends, they cannot compare to Alex Kelley. You want to put your name in the pot of the CC title, go ahead, get your brush with greatness. Only it will come in the form of an AK-47."

CHICKEN CLUB
Harlan Sanders IV: "Archer you just never learn, do you? It doesn't matter if it's tag team or singles, you aren't in our league, you are unworthy of being in the same ring as the leaner meaner CHICKEN CLUB. So bring GAMEOVER with you, it doesn't matter, Jim Rival and Black Cyborg will lay waste to you, and then we can move on to the Openweight Title."

Wrecker Jr:
"I'm not coming back to PGCW and getting cheered. I know that. I don't care. See I've realized something. Nobody in the Proving Ground likes me. The fans, the boys in the back. All they did was put plastic smiles on when I was around. When tried to get rid of that egotistical punk Jimmy The Razor, you all supported him and went against me. Why, because I worked with my mentor? He didn't care about me either, I knew that, but it was all business. But that means nothing to any of you, you just wanted me to wear plastic smiles just like yours.

Well to hell with that. And if you want to say I betrayed you, well the fact is, it was all of you who betrayed me. But I'm on my own now, and I'm going to be the most dangerous you've ever seen me. The list of broken necks will grow."

The Toombs Family
Mercy Toombs: "Now that the Joey Venom problem has been dealt with, now we can focus on regaining our tag team titles. However, I need to focus on our business, so you won't see as much of me in the ring for a while."

Jacob Toombs: "But me and RIP are capable of dominating the tag division all on our own, as we've proven time and time again."

RIP: "People forget how dangerous we are, just because we like to wear suits and look good in them. Well the suits come off, and heads will roll."

Scott Saphyre:
"Some of you are probably wondering why I would accept a relaxed rules stipulation against a man like William King. Well, I didn't accept it... I requested it."

"Everyone in the back says that King has my number, that I can't beat him. Well if I beat him by DQ, or by countout, people will say 'yeah, you won, but you didn't really beat him, did you?'"

"Well in relaxed rules, with more leeway, there will be no excuses. It will be me and him to the finish, and wether I come out on top or not, the score will be settled, and the controversy put to an end. Just remember, what they say is true... Death does wear blue."

William King:
"Soon, the rightful ruler of Proving Ground Championship wrestling reclaims his throne."

"You're a fool to make this relaxed rules, Saphyre. Do you realize who I am? The things I have done not only in this company but elsewhere? Do you remember how I put Alex Kelley in the hospital? Or how I brutalized Mongo in a barbed wire deathmatch?"

"And have you not yet realized that every time we're in the same ring, I win, and you lose?"

"Now though it will be one on one and or this battle I will unleash my full wrath upon you. I will give you a glimpse into the darkest reaches of my black heart. And once what is remaining of your body recovers from the destruction that will fall upon it, you will find your soul forever scarred by the abyss. And you will know that you are the only one to blame for your suffering. Carpe mundus per jugulum."

PGCW King vs Saphyre

INTRO MOVIE

RIP ADAM WEST 1928-2017

MC: "Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Proving Ground and tonight we have what may well be the most anticipated match in this company's history. They've fought in multi-man and tag matches but tonight, William King and Scott Saphyre will go one on one for the first time ever."

MC: "But before we get to that it's time for the first semifinal of the PGCW Tag Invitational, a tournament formed to shake up the tag team division. Winning team will be the new number one contenders as well as coming home with a cash prize, but this first match is going to be personal as the LPW Tag Team Champions, Armo Halla and Hjalmar Susi, the Kings of the North face off against the Killer Knees. In our special event in Louisiana Halla and Susi literally threw a Karma Chameleon at the Killer Knees, and they are fuming. So much that Walter Cranston told both teams that if they fought before the bell, BOTH times would be disqualified. But now they're in the ring and both teams are chomping at the bit, here we go folks."

Susi/Halla O [20:21- Camel Clutch] Monkey/Angel X

MC: "After our last event I was wondering if we'd ever see someone as vicious and powerful as Mongo again, and now there's TWO of them! The Killer Knees put up a strong fight, even surviving Halla's Baltic Stampede, and Electric Monkey nearly got the win with the Circuit Breaker and Renegade Angel hit the Morningstar but the Kings would not be denied, Halla hit Angel with a backbreaker and followed up with a camel clutch for the submission."

MC: "And now it's time to see who the Kings of the North will be facing later tonight. The Submissionaries, Marie St. Dumas and Terra, are a fearsome duo in the women's wrestling world, and qualified for this match by beating the infamous Stone Sisters. This will be their first intergender match however and it's not going to be an easy one. Johnny Jones and BLACKBIRD Sora, Bizarre Adventure, knocked off the favorites to win Plane Shift to advance and are as motivated to win as they've ever been. In fact that say if they don't win this AND go on to win the tag titles that they will split up. This is going to be a good one though, here we go."

St Dumas X / Terra [30:16- "Straightjacket Powerbomb"] Sora/Jones O

MC: "The Submissionaries put in their best effort, using their mat wrestling skills to great effect but Jones and Sora just would not be denied. They seemed prepared for a long grind and as hard as they tried the female fighters just couldn't put away their competition. Full credit to the Submissionaries though, being able to escape BLACKBIRD Sora's attempts at the Angel Lust, but in the end Johnny Jones caught Marie St. Dumas with a Straightjacket powerbomb to get the three count. There is definitely going to be a disadvantage here on how much fresher the Kings are going to be compared to Bizarre Adventure, but what a great finals that will surely be."

*"Sunglasses at Night" by The Megas plays*

MC: "Well this is supposed to be... well, it IS Alex Kelley, apparently with new music, and I think his wins over Yuuki Tsukino at the Anniversary Show and Scott Saphyre in Louisiana has given him a bit of an ego. Anyway Creative Commons title on the line here, Kelley's first defense, and it is going to be interesting to see how he handles this enviroment. Kelley's a dangerous opponent though as we all know, and it only takes one kick for Kelley to win a match."

*"Winner" by Cheeseburger hits*

MC: "...Not again. Here comes Wesley Winner of LPW, and I'm not sure if he was actually picked but the last time he showed up here it turned out that he thought it was an open challenge... Alex Kelley's got a mic..."

AK: "Wesley. I don't think you remember, but... this isn't an open challenge. You have to enter into a drawing, and then actually been drawn. And even if it was an open challenge, Wesley... what makes you think you can possibly beat me? I mean, your record is, what, seven wins five thousand losses? Let's be honest Wesley the only way you're ever going to make good money in this business is if you start putting cell phone ads on the bottom of your boots."

MC: "Senior ref Matt Weston getting a mic now..."

MW: "The person scheduled for this challenge was, in fact, Son of Meatball..."

AK: "See?"

MW: "But... Son of Meatball had visa issues, and couldn't make it tonight. And I've been informed that there was a second drawing... and Wesley Winner was the one drawn."

AK: "Seriously? ...Okay then, easy payday for me."

MC: "Well now that that's settled it looks like we're finally getting started for our first title match of the night, Creative Commons title on the line."

Kelley celebrating his win, sunglasses and all, but has four more wins to go before he can trade that title for a shot at the Openweight belt."

MC: "Our next contest is some tag team action where Ken Archer has enlisted GAMEOVER to team up against CHICKEN CLUB, hoping to get a measure of revenge against his former stablemates. The new team is already being dubbed "Down Right Fierce" and they've done some training with each other, but Rival and Cyborg while not common tag team partners are likely more familiar with each other and may prove to be the more cohesive unit. Interesting dynamics in this one as we get into some more tag team action."

Credit to Rival and Cyborg for holding their own, surviving offense like Archer's Hurricane Kick and a top rope Kill Screen by GAMEOVER but in the end as Black Cyborg was gaining momentum Ken Archer tagged in and caught Black Cyborg off guard, Archer's Arrow, and like so many others in the past Cyborg was unable to kick out. Archer gets some revenge and we have a new team to watch out for in the PGCW tag team division."

MC: "Our next contest is between Hija Del Santa Muerte, trying to climb the ladder against the reinstated Wrecker Jr. We last saw Wrecker Jr breaking the neck of his own tag team partner with the Homewrecker, and now he says he's his own man. Hija is a tough competitior, we saw what she's been capable of at the second Determination League, but she's got an uphill battle against the dangerous Wrecker Jr."

This was a competitive match early on, Wrecker resorting to a desperation version of the Homewrecker, he didn't get all of it and when he failed to get the three count, Hija responded with a second wind but the damage had been done. She gave it a great effort, almost putting away Wrecker Jr with a Cobra Clutch, but eventually Wrecker caught her, a second Homewrecker perfectly executed, and Cindi Slam had to stop the match out of concern for Hija's safety. Hija is being taken out on a stretcher, Wrecker Jr watching with a sadistic smile."

*"Viking Gods" by Tobias Gustarfsson plays*

MC: "And it's time for the finals of the Tag Invitional! Armo Halla and Hjalmar Susi, The Kings of the North, LPW Tag Team Champions, who felled the Karma Chameleons and the Killer Knees to get here. Their game is simple: Power and aggression. And they will likely be the fresher team, having been in a shorter match and have had more time to rest to boot. Not looking good for their opponents."

*"Roundabout" by YES hits*

MC: "That being said Johnny Jones and BLACKBIRD Sora are a formidable team, and have amazing stamina and willingness to win. Even more so that they've put their partnership on the line in a resolution to win the tag titles after several missteps. Both are phenomenal athletes, so the question is if their stamina and heart can overcome the odds tonight."

Halla X/Susi [25:29- "Angel Lust"] Jones/Sora O
Bizarre Adventure win $100,000 and become #1 contenders for the Tag titles

MC: "Halla and Susi started out strong, their physical style proving tough for Bizarre Adventure to deal with, but Jones mannaged to rally back, even hitting a release powerbomb on Susi for a two count, and a few minutes latter managed to heft him up so Sora could go to the top rope for a Doomsday Dropkick! Hjalmar answered by hoisting Jones onto his shoulder for the Valkyrie-DT for a nearfall, then when Jones was sent to the floor Halla planted him with a Baltic Stampete on the outside! Sora came in a house of fire but Susi planted xer with Valkyrie-DT for another nearfall, and Armo Halla also got a nearfall with a Longsword Chop, but the resilient Sora fought on. After escaping the same Camel Clutch that defeated the Killer Knees, Sora caught Halla with a kitchen sink, the setup for Angel Lust, and the Finnish bruiser tapped out to give Bizarre Adventure a well deserved victory! Kudos to both teams and we may well see the Kings of the North again here in PGCW, but for now Bizarre Adventure have their sights set on gold."

*"Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell" by Iggy Pop and the Stooges plays*

MC: "And we're about to find out who Bizarre Adventure will be challenging. Richard Ian Prescott and Jacob Toombs, taking off the suits and wearing traditional fight gear. They are former tag team champions looking to be only the second repeat champions in the company's history, and one can argue that they'd have to be the favorites with their experience not to mention that hard to counter smashmouth style of theirs."

*"Last Surprise" by Shoji Meguro hits*

MC: "And here come the tag ch- wait a sec, Jimmy The Razor's here, and Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana... where's Tristan Belmont. Jimmy's got a mic."

Jimmy: "So... Tristan Belmont... isn't here. See he was visiting family in Germany, his sister was getting married. And well, wouldn't you know it, Tristan got food poisoning. But, SCALPEL is a three man unit. So I explained the situation with Walter Cranston, and he allowed us to sub in Big Bobby here."

MC: "It looks like the challengers aren't protesting this, they are conferring over strategy but that's to be expected in a situation like this. Bobby Ka'Ana'Ana is an X-Factor and a game changer, it'll be interesting to see how the challengers tackle him. Here we go, tag team gold on the line!"

RIP O/Toombs [24:20- Mounted Guillotine] Razor X/Ka'Ana'Ana
Toombs Family become the 9th Tag Team Champions

MC: "Well the defending champs did their best but the challengers just would not be denied. Bobby's power and technique and Jimmy The Razor's athleticism gave the champs an early advantage but the roughneck style of the Toombs Family was able to go for the long haul. Toombs hit Toombsday on The Razor as well as a traditional chokeslam but the resilient Razor kicked out both times. The Razor looked to rally back but was flattened by a second Toombsday, this one on the turnbuckle, which Toombs used to tag in RIP, who dissected The Razor with his martial arts skills. Jimmy survived three Reaper Kicks but there's only so much punishment one man can take, and RIP put him in a guillotine choke to force a submission and recapture the gold."

*"Cthulhu" by Iced Earth hits*

MC: "And now it is time for the moment you've all been waiting for, our main event. William King is looking to reclaim the PGCW Openweight title at the expense of Scott Saphyre, and this will be relaxed rules, meaning that outside interference is the only thing that can cause a DQ. King coming out in a robe and that Cthulhu mask he's worn to the ring before, with his girlfriend Kathy Queen... who I think is dressed as Melisandre. King is all about no-nonsense physicality, and is very adept at using his elbows and knees to rattle his opponent to set up for his deadly Cthulhu Clutch. It's a simple strategy, but an effective one that's felled almost everyone on the roster including Scott Saphyre."

*"The Quick And The Blue" (Acoustic Version) by The Megas hits*

MC: "But he's never faced Scott Saphyre one on one and Scott has been felling seemingly unstoppable foes ever since capturing the title at Oblivion Road. These two are the only men to have won falls over DESPAIR and Scott was the only one who did so in a completely even playing field. That being said King injured himself pinning DESPAIR back in Oblivion Road, and the two never faced off against each other during that match. King has claimed that had he not been injured he'd have won the title well now here's his chance to prove that he is the rightful champion. Scott decked out in his usual blue only with gold trim instead of the usual white, perhaps reminding King who the champ is here. King taking off his robe and... WOAH."

Image

MC: "King seems to have some kind of alien runes painted on his body. Even Scott is taken aback by this absolutely demonic look King is sporting tonight. The first champ already having the mental advantage... remember folks, there are no countouts, and DQs only via interference..."

William King X [37:24- School Boy] Scott Saphyre O
Scott Saphyre makes his 6th Defense

MC: "WOW! We've had some epic battles here in PGCW but this may have trumped them all! King was at his most sadistic, using this brutal back to belly piledriver FIVE TIMES in the match, bringing out LIGHT TUBES, barbed wire bats, Kingmakers, Cthulhu Clutches, and even used his girlfriend's finisher the Mind Flayer but NOTHING could keep Scott Saphyre down. Scott threw everything he had as well, The Leben Lock, Death Wears Blue, dives to the floor but in the end it took a lariat quickly followed by a school boy to get the victory over the most dangerous man in PGCW. King is arguing the count with Matt Weston, but Matt's the best ref in the business and he didn't err here. King realizes this, he looks to Scott Saphyre, shaking the champ's hand. He whispers something, not sure what, but he pointed to the belt as well. Maybe saying that next time will be different and to be honest folks with how competitive this match was, one can easily say Scott barely scraped by. King and Queen leaving the ring allowing the champ to celebrate, the crowd with a standing ovation..."

Scott is coming to and it looks like he's going to be able to leave on his own power, very good sign, but we were close to losing our champion to the career-ending Homewrecker. Scott is getting a mic now..."

SS: "Cranston... I know you're probably writing up a recommendation to the State Athletic Commission for suspension or perhaps even trying to get Wrecker banned... but if you do that, then I'll just have to find Wrecker in a parking lot and beat the crap out of him myself. If you get him banned from Florida he'll just find another place to break people's necks. Someone needs to teach that asshole a lesson and that someone is going to be me. So do us both a favor, boss. Rip that letter up, and write up a title match contract instead, CAUSE IF WRECKER JR WANTS TO FIGHT ME, THEN LET ME FIGHT HIM! MAKE THE MATCH!"

MC: "The crowd now chanting 'Make The Match' as Scott Saphyre holds up his title, but also holding his neck."

Re: Proving Ground Championship Wrestling- SHOWS (6/11 King vs Saphyre)

Postby October Raven » Sat Jun 17, 2017 10:16 am

PROMOS:

Alex Kelley with Walter Cranston:
WC: "I told you Alex, that's a VIP parking space, it's for special guests..."

AK: "VIP parking... Very Important People. Who is more important to PGCW than me? Okay? I am the reason PGCW is the phenomenon it is. I am the next Openweight champion. I beat the legend Yuuki Tsukino, I kicked the head off of Richard Ian Prescott, and who was in the main event of our first show? Alex Kelley. So I'll ask you again, why can't I have the VIP parking spot?"

WC: "I'll take it under consideration but..."

CHICKEN CLUB head by, Cyborg with an ice pack on his neck.

HS: "We'll watch tape tomorrow so you can rest, but we have to keep training, I just got Jim a big match..."

BC: "Affirmative..."

Alex turns their way and slowly takes off his sunglasses.

AK: "...Eric?"

He then looks over to Cranston.

AK: "...Sleep on it."

Alex walks off, reaching for a cell phone.

SCALPEL:

BK: "Sorry I let you down, brotha."

JTR: "Let you down? No, you did great. Look, I know I have a reputation. But I'm not that guy anymore. SCALPEL isn't about me. It's about all of us. I'm not going to blame you for it because at the end of the day we both lost. But you know what? Tomorrow, is another day. And we're going to get stronger. We'll get those titles back. SCALPEL, baby. It's a real thing."

William King:

WK: "Saphyre... I may be pure chaotic evil, but even I know when to give credit where credit is due. You are one hell of a wrestler. You got the better of me... tonight. But you better be ready Scott because there will be a next time and when it comes I will be the one on top. But for now, you've earned my respect."

WK: "Which is a lot more than I can say for Wrecker Jr. You think you're a tough guy Wrecker? Broke a girl half your size, think you can take the Openweight title? Scott Saphyre is going to fucking own your sorry ass. And when he does, Wrecker... I'll be in the wings, waiting to teach you a lesson in respect. You don't get to claim to be the most dangerous man in this company as long as I'm in it. You break necks... I'll just break your goddamn soul."

PGCW Live Free or Get Wreck't

INTRO

MC: "Welcome to the Proving Ground as we compete in this building for the final time before it closes for renovations. I'm Michael Check and let's get straight to the action with the Creative Commons Title match."

*"Sunglasses at Night" by The Megas hits*

MC: "And here comes the champion Alex Kelley, who has been less than popular in the Proving Ground lately due to his recent change of attitude. It's not that he's not talented, though, he's just disrespectful to everyone else who has set foot here. And as much as I try to stay objective, he really needs a reality check."

*"Awakening The Chaos" by Daisuke Ishiwatari hits*

MC: "And this man might just be the one to deliver it! Former CC champ and two-time tag champ Murder Dragon! Someone who can match Alex Kelley in speed and athleticism as well as intensity. And like Alex Kelley he's got a variety of moves that can end a match. This is sure to be an exciting contest, let's get to it!"

Alex Kelley O [14:00- "AK-47"] Murder Dragon X
Alex Kelley makes his 2nd defense

MC: "Fantastic match to start this show! Murder Dragon tried to focus on those deadly legs of Kelley, even applying a vicious twisted kneebar at the end but Alex Kelley managed to get to the ropes. Murder Dragon seemed primed to put the champ away, but as he had Kelley in the corner, Alex hit him with a push kick, also known in Mauy Thai as a thip kick, and that set up the AK-47, flush on the jaw, and you could count to 50 and Murder Dragon still wouldn't have kicked out, and... wait a sec, Kelley's got a mic and putting an arm around senior official Matt Weston."

AK: "Hey, Matt. Knock Knock."

MW: "...Who's there?"

AK: "Murder Dragon."

MW: "Murder Dragon who?"

AK: "EXACTLY." *drops mic*

MC: "And that's exactly what I mean when I talk about disrespectful behavior! Well moving on we've got singles action, as one-half of The Killer Knees, Renegade Angel goes one on one with CHICKEN CLUB member Black Cyborg. The Cyborg is looking to get back on track, having had issues with his momentum since RIP picked him apart back in Murder The Dawn. This too should be a fast paced encounter, Cyborg is very dangerous, Renegade Angel is too but he's a tag team specialist, this should be interesting.

Renegade Angel X [9:26- "Time Paradox"] Black Cyborg O

MC: "Renegade Angel put up a hell of a fight here, but despite surviving Elimination Protocol he was unable to rally back as Black Cyborg put him down with the Time Paradox for the three count. A great performance for Black Cyborg as he looks to claw back up the rankings and become the first Triple Crown champion."

MC: "Coming up next is some tag team action with two strong duos in Kings of the North returning to PGCW to face off against Ken Archer and GAMEOVER, Down Right Fierce. The Kings impressed a lot of people in the tag team invitational which they almost won, but now have to face off against a dynamic new team, Archer and GAMEOVER may be inexperienced as a duo but have shown to work well together. But can they weather the storm of power that is the Finnish duo Kings of the North?"

Halla/Susi X [26:00- KO via "Archer's Arrow"] Archer O/GAMEOVER

MC: "What a great back and forth battle between both teams, each looked poised to win this on multiple occasions and showed great teamwork but in the end, when it looked like Hjalmar Susi was going to finish off Ken Archer, Ken caught him with an Archer's Arrow, dropping him headfirst and there was no getting up from that. Archer and GAMEOVER are now 2-0 as a team and have dispatched tough competition, could this be the new team to watch out for in PGCW?"

MC: "Well moving on we've got six-man tag team action as The Silver Bullet teams with Age of Magic to face SCALPEL. This is a continuation of the absolutely mind-blowing tag team match that Age of Magic and SCALPEL had."

MC: "WOW. That was a marathon war, everyone on their feet. All six men left it all in the ring and both sides showed great teamwork but in the end Jimmy The Razor was hit with a Saturday Night Special by the Silver Bullet and just wasn't able to kick out."

MC: "Our next contest is a three-way elimination dance, as Spider Jack, Kathy Queen and the Arctic Knight do battle. All three are looking to impress PGCW commish Walter Cranston to potentially headline the next PGCW event, between the world famous cruiserweight sensation, the always dangerous femme fatale and the veteran star all three of them are suitable candidates but who will come on top tonight?"

MC: "And that's why he's the international cruiserweight champion, folks! This was a struggle throughout, with no time for anyone to take a breather because someone was right on top of them. All of them were close to victory, but Spider Jack caught Arctic Knight with a running small package, then after a Daddy Longlegs to Kathy Queen and following that up with a standing moonsault for the victory."

*"Roundaout" by YES hits*

MC: "And here we go folks, tag team title match! This isn't the first for the challengers, Johnny Jones and BLACKBIRD Sora, also known as Bizarre Adventure. But they have said if they don't win this it will be their last as a duo. They look fired up though and we've seen how both of them operate when stakes are high, this could be their night."

*"Clear The Way" by Iced Earth plays*

MC: "And here come Jacob Toombs and Richard Ian Prescott, now calling themselves the Men of Respect. For the past few events now the titles have bounced from team to team, this tag division seems to be more competitive than ever. Toombs and RIP however are a team very capable of holding the tag gold for a very long time. Their combination of Toombs' power and RIP's dangerous strikes make for a formidable duo. The history of PGCW's tag division hangs in the balance here, folks."

Jones/Sora O [14:27- Ipponzoei + Knee Drop] RIP O/Toombs
Bizarre Adventure become the 10th Tag Team Champions

MC: "They did it! Toombs and RIP used their roughhouse tactics but Sora and Jones managed to fight back with technique and skill. RIP was nearly forced to tap out to Angel Lust but managed to recover. But when Sora was being pummeled by one of RIP's signature flurries, xhe caught him with a judo throw, hammered RIP in the ribs with a well placed knee, and that was enough to score the fall."

*"Hey Man Nice Shot" by Filter hits*

MC: "Here comes CHICKEN CLUB member Jim Rival, and this will be his biggest singles match in PGCW to date as he goes one on one with the first ever PGCW Openweight Champion William King. Ever since the decimation of CHICKEN CLUB Harlan A Sanders IV has been lobbying for a title chance for Rival, and if he can knock off King tonight it'd be hard not to see him fighting for the gold."

*"Cthulhu" by Iced Earth plays*

MC: "And here comes a VERY determined William King, and his girlfriend Kathy Queen is struggling to keep pace with him as he marches down, senior official Matt Weston standing in the way of King so we can get a proper start to this match... and I don't think I'm going to have much time to talk so let's get to the action while we can!"

Jim Rival X [5:44- "Shadows Over Innsmouth"] William King O

MC: "WOW. Rival is one hell of a competitor but I think he was in the wrong place at the wrong time tonight. King was fighting full tilt, putting Rival in the Cthulhu Clutch and it would have been over had Sanders not managed to put Rival's foot on the ropes. But the few seconds that King had it locked in was enough to virtually incapacitate Rival. Rival managed to suplex King over the ropes but this seemed to be out of instinct, and once King got back in it didn't take long, a coconut crush and a lariat set up Shadows Over Innsmouth for the academic three count."

*"Beat You To Death" by GWAR plays*

MC: "Well here's hoping our main event isn't as one-sided as it's time for the Openweight Title to be defended, and here comes the challenger, Wrecker Jr, out to win a major singles title, something his father never managed to do in his storied career. Wrecker Jr has left a trail of injured opponents in his wake, as well as an injured ally in Water Moccasin, and all due to his lethal Homewrecker finisher. Hija Del Santa Muerte is still recuperating, Water Moccasin may be gone for good, we haven't even heard from Mario Black, and that's just counting the serious injuries Wrecker has inflicted with that move. And if he can hit it, it may be the end of the reign of the Man in Blue."

*"The Quick And The Blue" by The Megas hits*

MC: "Speaking of the Man In Blue, here he comes, making his unprecedented 7th defense of the PGCW Openweight Title. Scott has conquered hurdle after hurdle and we were sure his battle with King was going to be the end of his reign but he endured. After that grueling contest, however, and the sadistic attack by Wrecker Jr after, one has to wonder if Scott is 100% coming into this bout."

MC: "This is not the first time these two have met one on one, all the way back in Episode 2 Scott beat Wrecker after using multiple Death Wears Blues and a moonsault, no doubt that encounter in both men's minds tonight."

Wrecker Jr X [22:10- "Blue Monday"] Saphyre O
Scott Saphyre makes his 7th Defense

MC: "And once again Saphyre uses his superior technique to win the day! The size and streetfighting tactics Wrecker used were countered by Scott targeting his arm to neutralize his striking and his knee to keep Wrecker from going for the Homewrecker. Scott's gameplan was the weardown and submission game, a smart contrast to trying to pummel the resilient Wrecker into defeat. In the end Wrecker used a bionic elbow and tried to set up for the Homewrecker, but the worn down knee left an opening which Scott capitalized on, Blue Monday center of the ring and Wrecker Jr just wasn't going to escape and was forced to submit."

MC: "And that's all the time we have for you all tonight here in PGCW, we'll see you in our temporary home real soon!"
