Hidilly-ho neighboreenos!

While this is my first post, I’m not new to series. I got into FP with Returns (PSN), & all the saves I used came from here. So, I’m familiar with some of the veteran creators. I got away from it due to other things grabbing my attention, but came back when I heard there was going to be a new game. I never thought we’d see another one. Seeing what the community has come up with since FPW was released, at the rate it has been, has been great. Kudos to all of you who keep making the game better, particually Carlzilla. I look forward to see what the community comes up with next.

Hi!

I love seeing a lurker graduate to a curtain jerker (™). So many fine folks hanging out now who have said they'd been lurking forums for literally years and only just now venturing to become "part" of it, and it becomes immediately clear how much we'd all been missing their presence for all those years. World has been a miracle boon, not only because of just existing and offering all it does by way of funsies and whatnot, but also for bringing everyone out of the woodwork, from long lost oldies to newly found newies.

So, welcome!

I have noticed that as well. I guess since I'm new to the territory, I'll be putting people over every night.

I actually had to ask someone a question, which required me to register. I figured I might as well join the community as well. Honestly, I didn't think I would be even playing World. I thought my computer was too old to run it, & I had no plans to buy a PS4. When I kept reading that other people were able to run it under the minimum specs, I bit the bullet, & tried it out last month. I'm glad I did. :D

Nah. :( I admire anyone who has the skill, & patience to create great edits. Maybe one day I'll decide take a shot at making one. Even if it's just for me. Never say never. I see that you have a thread with tips for beginners. When I get the chance, maybe I'll check it out. Even if it's just for information sake at this time.

Well, we're glad to have you on board, and don't be afraid to try your hand at making some edits, you might find that you'll do better than you think.

Now if only we could get Wonderland to put his pants back on...

I dunno if it's possible to make that happen. I mean, you can -try- and make him put them back on but... yeah.

Hello !
i'm Bananeninja (you can call me banane or ninja, it's up to you), I'm pretty new since I started playing fire pro about a year ago with FPR on a laggy ps2 emulator just because I thought the character had a cool and accurate apperance, not really understanding how to play and getting destroyed by a level 3 CPU , And now here i am with +200h (i know it's not that big but it's still something :D )on FPW enjoying every bit of the game , i've been lurking for quite a time now and I finally decided to sign up (also if I do mistakes in english please forgive me, it's not my first language)

Hi! I'm Sean961 and I am pretty new to the Fire Pro series! (only clocking in 120+ hours). I've been lurking in this board since early access mostly to keep up-to-date with Carlzilla's mods and to read up on guides on how to improve my edits. So I've decided to sign up to be part of the community and to also receive some help (and feedback) for my edits. :D

Jeez, Wondy, you can at least buy him a drink first, before immediately asking him to show you his dits.

Anyone who needs to be plied to expose their dits isn't worth Wondy's time. It's a time management thing...

Hello! I'm CP Munk. I used to post over on SSS and I'm an off-again on-again puroresu fan. I fell in love with Fire Pro Returns when it came out on the PS2 and even bought the digital version for the PS3 when it came out. I like the heavyweight-oriented promotions in Japan but my personal preference is for junior heavyweight matches. I especially love early 2000s Toryumon. Not crazy about WWE but I really enjoy Lucha Underground.

I've had FPWW for awhile and am really grateful for all the awesome edits out there. Special shout-out to Phil Parent for his edits and collections. I don't do edits myself (I barely have leisure time for matches).

Came here because I've been toying with the idea of posting simmed matches for a a fantasy fed based off a real puro promotion -- like All Japan if the NOAH split never happened, Dragon Gate if CMAX never broke up and Kondo, YASSHI, et al were never expelled, and so on.

Looking forward to posting here!

Hello all!!

DragonX here. Independent wrestler from eastern Canada, recently discovered that not only was there a PS2/PSN FPW but also this absolutely incredible creations community. I am floored at the amount of care and detail that you folks have put into recreating past and present-day wrestlers.

Even though World is surely taking up a lot of the community's time and efforts these days, I look forward to enjoying the work put in by everyone on Returns for what very well could be, years to come.

Cheers!

It's a goldmine dragonx - enjoy losing yourself in it. My personal recommendation is DJKM purely due to the massive range he covers and the care he puts into his research. It's an obvious pick but he's perfect as your Base save if you haven't already checked out his work.

Thus far I've been picking through the ECW '95 pack and I've downloaded and unzipped the Indy 2014 pack but I'm having some issues getting it/them to load without losing my master save, while still being able to pick and choose who I'd like from the packs but I fear this is the wrong topic to ask for clarification!

You need to load your new additions in the second memory card slot and use the data options in the game to copy the wrestlers you want onto your main save.

Hello there.

I'm fairly new to the series. I've dabbled in some of the older games (I've played emulated versions of the SNES, and GBA games) but had some difficulty getting into them as the game style didn't "click" for me until I grabbed Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2. Unfortunately, not long after I got that I ended up moving to Australia, and had to sell all of my gaming stuff in the process as different voltage, plugs, and PAL and whatnot. So I didn't have a chance to really crack into things until FPWW came out on Steam.

This game, however, I've spent plenty of time on - over 100 hours at this point. Still trying to figure out the kinks of the logic system and everything but I'm enjoying making people, and simming matches just as much as I've enjoyed actively playing it. I've got about 43 or so edits up on the workshop at the moment, but I'm not sure if they're considered good or not since I've not had many people give me feedback on any of them aside from Goldberg.

Either way, looking forward to learning to work the kinks out and everything - even if now all of my NJPW edits are potentially irrelevant come this year's G1, haha.
