Got him set up for Manitoba. Surprisingly that part of the bracket is now the most filled-out. Two US/Canada territories, DC, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Alberta remain for the "outside" bracket. (Whoops, I forgot about Hawaii, that one's open too.)

I'll run a few tests with him when I get a chance. Looking forward to seeing what he's got.

I'll gladly take Colorado and Maryland if they're still open. The edits I'm entering are Dawn Hawkins (Maryland) and Nina Armstrong (Colorado).

You got it, I'll get 'em set up and get Hawkins into testing (not that I expect her to be an issue in the slightest, she should do just fine. :D)

Let me know if there are any issues, he seems pretty balanced from what I can tell thus far.

Ooh, I like this look a lot.

Hopefully he's entertaining.

Sweet! I just updated Dawn with a parameter overhaul as well as a few moveset and logic tweaks. Her performance is much more ideal.

He doesn't have a specific hometown, but King Cake is as blatantly Louisiana as one can get.

It's not enough to look like an edit to be an edit. You have to act like them too.

Work in progress, but here's a sneak preview. Feels weird working on an edit unpatched, but here he is - Nick Griner proudly displaying the University of Michigan colors.

Image

Suplex machine with a few subs thrown in. Still working on the chest layers, trying to figure out how to get some yellow trims on the chest like I did for the thighs.

If Nick's name sounds familiar, it should be. I used Rick Steiner as an inspiration to make Nick ;) In fact, Nick can be kind of an asshole and has stolen Rick's tagline, "If you want some, come and get some. If you don't like me, BITE ME!"

I'll have him uploaded to the shop in a few days. He will be well balanced and should put on a good match, win or lose.

I'll get to looking at Tara soon as I'm home from what I've got going on today.

Cleaver's definitely on the strong side. He hits hard as hell, and I think he's running Hardbody... of the tests I've run so far with him, he's only lost a single match. He's capable of snowballing really hard if he gets control early. I'm gonna keep looking at him to see if RNG's playing a factor, though.

King Cake is... weird. Not bad. But I find myself not fully knowing what to expect from him, which may not be a bad thing in the long run.

Dawn Hawkins looks fuckin' fantastic and I've loved every test sim I've run with her.

I dunno. I made Newfie George (based on a buddy of mine) specifically for this tourney, but I made him in the same vein as my ZIP JAPAN edits, so he should theoretically be able to contend with the ZJ regulars...he's a tough old bastard. Time will tell :)

He's absolutely glorious and I kinda can't wait to see what comes from him. Admittedly I wasn't sure what to expect outright, but I think this is about what I would've guessed, if I had.

After a while of flopping back and forth on the idea, I've decided that #1: Blake Dynamite is, in fact, Canadian (from Calgary), and #2: he's entering as the Alberta representative as a result. I'm not gonna lock him in 100% in case somebody REALLY wants Alberta, but for now, that's gonna stick.

Firehawk, my edit of Nick Griner may not use a strike exchange. It just doesn't fit his style that I have envisioned for him. Any issues with that? If so, I'll find something to use in the strike exchange.

It probably won't be an issue, but it's entirely up to you. If I find that it's causing issues, I'll worry about it then.
