NJWA and Dragon Pro Wrestling have decided on the matchups which will represent them in this event.

Dragon Pro have decided to have their representative match be Strangler Mizuno vs. Dragon Kono. In this battle, the founders of Dragon Pro face off to present their vision of pro wrestling in a tough yet skillful battle. Will superior size or elegance decide who the top native in Dragon Pro is? One thing is for sure: there will be atleast one Dragon Sleeper in this match.

NJWA have deided to send 4 of their top juniors in Blue Caesar & Venom Nobunaga vs. Larrakin Takeo & Silent Assailant. Sparks flying is guaranteed when these 4 capable wrestlers collide in a hard hitting and athletic battle.

Also should mention that Raymond Allen Fleming should ref the GPC/Diego match and Junior Ellis the Cowboy/Moonsault match, if you're accepting outside referees.

If I'd been able to find where I'd put my logo graphic for R:ISE, I would've sent it over to you so you could add it to the poster. :P

Kaguro Promo

(Somewhere deep in Japan)

Spoiler: show
It seems I have been given a first class ticket to an easy victory. Bah. Where is my food at?

Servant: Sorry I'm late, here's your food dish!

Kaguro: (eats) Food fit for a shogun. Now take a break.

(looks at camera)

I, the mighty shogun Kaguro, have been given the opportunity to fight someone who couldn't even hold her own tourney down, despite supposedly being this fearsome vampire demon. And I know why. You are too nice! Like the orange!

You have all the power in the world, and you spend your days barely taking anything seriously.

When we engage in combat, I will personally slap the nice right out of you, and claim victory; in my home country, no less. And in the end, you will have YOURSELF (slams down a naginata) to blame for not showing a streak of cruelty befitting a monster of your stature. Assuming you still have stature.

(Sips drink)

Quite bitter today. (Slams another naginata down)

Reina Counter Promo, after watching Kaguro's:

Spoiler: show
(80s music playing)

Aw, he seems mad. :(

He's taking this whole tournament quite seriously.

(Turns to audience)

Hi there guys! :D It's everyone's favorite succu-vamp, Reina Stilleta here! And it seems I've got a play date with a very wound up and tense shogun, hmm...

Looks like I might have to play rough a lil (shifty eyes), since you seem to be so intent on slapping me silly. Kaguro, darling, you seem to forget, there's little reason for me to actually try, as I mostly do this to kick a lil butt and have a lil fun. But you don't seem intent on having any (starts to tear up, anime style). And that makes me sad. :(

(eyes glow)

But, if you wanna engage in a lil rough play, I'd be HAPPY to oblige (evil grin). You see, these heels of mine would fit perfectly through your helmet. You say you like to slap people around, including that cutie pie (makes cutesy face) orange who did you no wrong. How's about I slap you around with a whip instead? :D

And then....

(feed cut, as Reina babbled about Kaguro's naginatas, his drink choice, and one of his servants being cute)

(feed restores)

And to all my lovely fans, don't forget to catch me, as I play around with this grumpy meanie. (blows kiss)
It's not enough to look like an edit to be an edit. You have to act like them too.

After his match on night one, Cowboy has a few words:

Spoiler: show
Following his brutal, bloody war with Josh Belmonte and the Hangman, Cowboy Johnston can be found in the medical room, stiched up, iced over and with an IV in his arm. A medic is attending to him, but he seems to be in decent spirits as the microphone reaches his face.

Cowboy Johnston: Ah gotta say, a bit sore everywhere, got stitches in mah head, ain't feel like ah'm connected to reality here.

Johnston grimaces as the medic readjusts his IV.

Cowboy: Sorta woozy headed here, yah know? But I ain't stoppin' here. Got mah match with Mr. Moonsault tomorrow, an' ain't givin' Belmonte the satisfaction of puttin' me out. Nah, nope, no chance. Cause, ya know what, ah'm not backin' down. Moonsault, you're gonna get the best ah can bring, got that!

Cowboy: Simba, nice taggin' with ya, glad ya ain't got a problem stayin' outta mah way there, sorry 'bout askin' that, but ah got a personal problem wit' Belmonte, an' sum personal history wit' Hangman, so best for me to take care a' that tonight. Ya still helped me out well 'nuff, thanks again for that.

Cowboy: But, yeah, like ah said, ah got mah shots in on both of y'all, Belmonte, Hangman, neither one of ya two sumbitches got out without feelin' some hurt! An' that's just ok for me! Alright, ah' gotta catch some sleep here...man, ah hurt all over...

Backstage, shortly after the conclusion of the main event:

Spoiler: show
"Well, damn if ya' still bring it every time we get in there, now." Lance lets out a deep breath, the Phoenix Rising World Championship still resting over his shoulder. "You damn well got what it takes to win this sooner or later, Ril."

"Just not tonight." Ril shrugs, an ice pack on her neck, though she doesn't appear to be frustrated or down. "My time's coming. But you're proving you might be one of the best in the world right now. Nobody's been able to bring you down twice... and that's exactly what we're going to need."

"Damn right. You and I got business to take care of Monday night... we're gonna need our best. Ya' saw what happened with Cowboy out there. Speakin' of which, I ought to check in with him before we get goin' tonight." Lance shakes his head, frowning slightly. "And we're gonna have to deal with the full trio."

"No worries. I don't fear them. I don't fear -him-. And we have our aces in the hole for Monday night." Ril smirks up to the Texan champion. "Our third member will tip the scales in our favor, without a doubt... and we've got our secret weapon in reserve to boot. The Harbingers aren't going to know what hit them."

"Damn right they won't. It's like I said... they're gonna run back home with their tails fuckin' tucked... cause they ain't steppin' into OUR turf without a war."

Thanks for running the event. It was a fun watch.

Loved hearing the UWF theme for Hammerfist's entrance.
