Exactly. I put more time into 17 than any Smackdown game to date, even FINALLY hitting my "Holy Grail" of fixing, or at least performing a "damage control" pass on, EVERY single moveset in the game. I've fully intended to do that in every game since Shut Your Mouth, and never actually did it until this year. To have to start over again, JUST on that front, would be crushing. Not to mention the downloaded community creations I can't carry over, who may not get made again with any quality to speak of. Not to mention the couple dozen completely original wrestlers that I can't carry over, whose faces I may not be able to recognizably reproduce.
If I could bring forward even PART of what I'd done in the previous game, this would be a no-brainer buy for me, but this year I'm probably just gonna focus on FPW. It does make me a bit sad, because a few of those originals were "born" in the 2k series, and don't play quite the same in Firepro. Obviously, I can still play 17 when I want to, but it'd be cool to just get the new game and pick up close to where you left off the last year.
Also slightly there's something happy, so enjoy it!
