Re: Fire Prowrestling World: New Beginning at Critical Club 7/16

Lol as if sword was watching over everything and keeping order until now? This is what anarchy looks like. We're just here for the sims. You're not wrong, but he did OWN the domain and whatnot, so we're kinda SOL if/when the board goes down again. I was only responding to the anarchy thing with tha...

Re: Wait... what?

It's probably the feds brought it back to gather up info. That might mean he did use this site for illegalities. Sure this is all conjecture, but I need to tell myself something to make sense of it all.

Re: Wait... what?

Also, without C-Drive, even a new place will be less-than. :( He helped and kept up a lot of the technical stuff over the years. The streaming stuff, notifications, etc. Why did he say goodbye anyway?

Re: Wait... what?

Ah, a literal impossibility of keeping the site running (if that's in fact the case) leaves no other choice. Would love to find out if that's the case though. Don't peoples' possessions get taken by the government or something? Maybe we can buy this place back at auction prices. God damn it.

Re: Wait... what?

I guess I'm just not as knowledgable about domain stuff as others. I've never associated this place with any single person. And unless anyone was actively using this site for illegal purposes, I don't see the tarnish. But whatever, ya'll are gonna do what you're gonna do. Let the pieces fall where t...

But I don't see why we all need to up and move if site can stay up otherwise... It's not his site, it's ours. Right?

Not a troll. Wish it was.

What exactly. I'm piecing together from context clues in this thread, but no idea what actually happened/was said/is going on

Why sim against just one opponent? Vary that shit up and chances are, results will vary as well

Re: CPU vs. CPU mode

Love this. I also ran seasons worth of Madden just simming, handling the GM stuff and off-season whatever's while watching all the games. And SF4, simmed way more than ever played. MMA games, and yeah just about any game that offers the option. Even Total War battles sometimes.

Re: the best cpu level for sim? (poll added)

There's like a 2-3 crank difference between level 4 and say 10 near the end match. Level 4 tops out at like 9 cranks near the end, higher levels are like 7. And similar ratios earlier in a match too, where level 10 gets like 1-2 cranks early, level 4 gives 3-4. Jeez 2-3 extra cranks on a finisher s...

Re: the best cpu level for sim? (poll added)

I once did a few comparison sims, level 1 vs 10, and didn't really see an obvious increase in sub length as the difficulty went down. I may have to slow things down and start counting cranks for a more proper test. By sub length, I mean more cranks. I ocd count cranks. There's like a 2-3 crank diff...

Re: RIP Big Van Vader

I remember him on Boy Meets World from when I was a kid. You could tell he was a big teddy bear even though I think he was playing a badass mean guy. Or maybe he also had a turn of character in the episode to be nice eventually, idunno. But the genuine tenderness of him came through, even in acting.
